  1. Don't pee over the side or it might be trouble.
  2. If it is a 1" shaft then go to crappy tire and buy the kit it has directions in it. You are short a few parts in your pics.
  3. WTG. Did you get the length? Nice fish.
  4. Hope the table saw didn't take too big a bite and it heals up well. Great report.
  5. The big jon with the mounting base that bolts to the boat are nice. They are easy to mount and wont fall off. Just slide in the rigger and lock one screw. For trolling battery i use the portable battery packs the ones for jump starting your car. They are cheaper and come with a charger. They may not last as long but you can buy two for the same as one marine DC. Mine have a small adapter for recharging so i dont need to carry my big battery charger on trips.
  6. Thanks Greg that is good news. Maybe the musky will have something to eat now.
  7. I am not sure if that motor has a built in hour meter or not. Coin toss.
  8. I just did a complete gut of my boat. I then put in new foam, main floor, front and rear casting decks with chairs. It took about 30 hrs but the boat is awesome i had it out on monday for a test run. It cost about $800 and i already had the chairs. The new vinyl from homedepot is real nice $250 for glue and 20' piece. I will get pics when i get a chance.
  9. My condolences Lew.
  10. Excellent. I never caught a sheepshead are they any good to eat? I hope the slot in nip helps the fishing.
  11. That is one nice boat. When you are done rigging it it will be easier to catch fish. Having the right gear makes a big difference. I have to wipe the slobber off of the key board just thinking about it.
  12. At least it didn't sink.
  13. Good price. Lots of people could use one of those. Looks more like a 2 stroke price.
  14. You can get the manual for the new motors online. Google Honda Marine. Use what ever type of oil or service parts Honda says to use. They are the best for your Honda thats why Honda uses them.
  15. "Maybe I'm a tad pickier than some" No way. When it is new it should be perfect. I hope they get there stuff together and fix it properly.
  16. I would like one that has a removable post so the seat will go right on the floor. I am worried that the ones that just slip together with no thread or lock with come out when i hit a wave. Any thoughts. Thanks.
  17. What is the best type of seat base and pedestal?? I want to put one on the front deck that wont fall out when going fast and hitting waves. But i want to be able to remove it and use it high or low. Thanks for any help.
  18. Bass Pro in toronto dosnt carry carpet. I got the vinyl from home depot. cost $250 with the glue. Thats about $200 more than i wanted. The indoor outdoor i saw didnt have any rubber on the back so it would have trapped moisture. I am at about $600 to do the floor and i aint done yet. Thanks for the replies. the bed liner stuff might be good too.
  19. Maybe i will use indoor outdoor. But i dont want to.
  20. Thanks for the help. Zamboni brings up a good point. Maybe no foam or foam in places above the floor would be better.
  21. So the back wood floor of my boat is a little soft. I pulled a 2' chunk out and it was all water logged. Then i pulled out a piece of the foam and it was water logged too. A piece 1' sq and 1" thick weighed 4lbs. So i have no choice but to pull the whole floor out of my boat. What type of foam can i use that wont hold water at all??? Can i use some sheet foam and some spray foam? Thanks.
  22. Once you catch one of those other fish just aint the same. Nice going.
  23. Clampit you are a good fisherman.
  24. I never use muffs on a boat. That right there is the reason.
  25. Thanks Uncle Buck. I have a 20hp with a pull start if i have to. I will only use the battery for fishfinder bilge pump lights. I have other battery packs for the trolling motor.
