I got back from Lakair a few hours ago. I hope everyone else has a good trip home. The fishing was good and the company was even better. I met Lew, GCD, Joey, Paul, Muskiestudd, Highdrifter, Bassfisher, Tracker, Skeeter, Spiel, Roy, Britmik, Lovinlunkers, Kevin from Lakair and i had Kickingfrog fishing with me. I am horrible with names so thats all i can remember. I had a great time and it was a pleasure to meet you all.

Fisherman is right. You can put used bearing back into the same races they came out of. But never mix them up. After diving a 1/2hr or so get out and put your hand on the hub to check for heat. Warm is ok. Hot is trouble. Right now your bearings and seals are all cooked.

Rob stop playing around and pack your stuff for Lakair. Can i borrow your tent if you are not ready at 10:30.

SlowPoke is right. If you are going to try more of the same leaders make sure you test them at home. At least it didn't cost you a fish.

Drill out the stud or the nut. Or grind off the stud and nut. At this point the stud and nut are no good so just get it apart. Then you can get a new stud and nut.

Well going by a picture. The trailer is worth $600. The boat $1800. The motor $2400, So yes buy it now. If you dont like it you can always sell it and get your money back.

You will have to drill lots of holes. One in the middle for the pin is about 3" dia. You have to buy the hardware separate. Get out the drill and giver. Like GCD said the most important thing is to build it strong. A heavy backing plate with washers to make sure it wont pull out would be good.
