  1. The journey is one of the best parts, and good on ya for playing it safe. To many times this year that people took that extra chance and lost
  2. Yes I have the Cummins and running the heavy duty tow package as well, but my point was that the mileage is still decided by the gearing was all. Just didn't want people comparing strictly engine size and getting the wrong info was all.
  3. Just remember it's not as much the engine size as the gear ratio of the drivetrain that determines MPG. I drive a Ram 2500 and get around 18 city and 26 on the hwy.
  4. Jon, that is one great shot for sure. You captured that perfectly thanks for posting man.
  5. Limeyangler thanks for that great post and pics, I too like the one of the two of you with the sunset And congrats once again on the second part; starting the new memories with the next generation to your family That was my greatest feeling when it happened to me.
  6. Congrats on the new PB's Joeytier and to you and your dad on a great weeks fishing
  7. Nice report and pics Glen. Don't you just love a great ending to the day Those are some nice slabs.
  8. Nice pics and report Fisherpete thanks so much, glad to see you broke the skunk. Congrats to the both of you
  9. Sorry to hear about the lose of your friend, Rick. I've always been an organ donor. Before losing a niece to bone cancer at a very young age, I've always felt it was the way to be. And I have to tell you that seeing her go was not pleasant, however she was always high spirited and used to tell everyone that someday there will be a cure And I like to think she was right.
  10. And they still can't get their priorities straight. I just got a letter that I owe $23000 in back taxes in VA even though I haven't lived there for close to 12 years
  11. It was definately a great day to be out fishing. Glad to see you were able to keep Mr Stinky at bay Jacques. Thanks for the great report and pics guys.
  12. I agree that it's a first fish thing. Just have patience Cliff, your time will come man. Thanks for the great photo's and report
  13. That is a tragedy my condolences to the family.
  14. Congrats on a great day out. From the pics I too see that your dog loves fish and maybe pointing out spots for you. I hope you don't overlook that
  15. It's always a circus the last days of the season, glad that idiot didn't run into your holes or hut. The salvage companies must love this time of year though. I don't think I would ever drive my truck out on the ice, it's just to much to lose to me. Not to mention that the walk wouldn't kill me
  16. Very nicely done Jack, those are some beauties. Way to go man. I have a strong feeling that the rest of the ice bridge up at the falls will be breaking up this weekend which will send more ice down that way, then it should be smooth sailing after that.
  17. Thanks for the great report and pic. Those are some nice looking fish for sure. And good on ya for helping that guy out. It's always nice to know that there are people out there willing to lend a helping hand.
  18. Looks like you guys had an awesome day on the ice there. Thanks for the great report and pics.
  19. Great job Cliff and way to hang in there.

  22. Welcome aboard, you can learn a lot from the posts here and I hope to see many more fishing posts from you both in the future. My 8 year old son has been my fishing partner for a few years now so I know how your dad feels It just doesn't get any better.
  23. Bernie I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. It's never easy losing a member of the family.
  24. That's pretty close to the estimate I was given today too Bruce.
  25. Sorry to hear that Bruce. The same thing happened to me a couple of months back. I'll check with a couple of people tomorrow and let you know what I find out.
