  6. That first picture is priceless, the look of determination is incredible. He'll make a fine fisherman for sure. Thanks for the great pics and post Simon. Dnthmn my hat's off to you and your wife on the wonderful gift
  7. Plenty of DR Pepper, water, and some Pepperettes. I love the spicey ones they're the best
  8. Congratulations to you both, 27 years is a beautiful thing and I wish you twice as many more On a side note I just hope that "Formal Fishing" doesn't take off, be a real pain to try and fish some area's with a dress code

  14. Congrats Bruce on freeing those fish even though it meant loosing you chance at the fishing and you got to release a trout in the process Have you noticed how often lately that Plan C seems to be the productive one Great job on the cats and the carp for Team 3 Wait until Dawg see's this post
  15. I hope to be getting the little guy up there this year Working on some plans with a couple of others first.
  16. Nice job man, but expect that when you take any woman fishing.
  17. Glad to hear that you're good to go now
  18. No problem, after all that's what this site is about
  19. Joeytier the Cats will be in there for a long time, but as the water warms the big ones tend to move deep till the cooler temps in the evening (hence the catfishing at night) hope this helps
  20. Those are some pretty cats for sure Bucktail. Never set the hook unless it's a sweepset otherwise you're in deep and fighting to get the hook out (if you're lucky) or miss it entirely Still a nice job man
  21. Well if you want to shoot across the border one night this week give me a shout wallyworld is open till 9PM and we can be over and back in about 30 minutes pending traffic.
  22. I'll keep the odd smaller pike say 6-8 lbs anything big goes back as I consider them to be breeders. Even when I do catch a really big muskie it will go back. There are so many places that can make a replica of the fish that I feel it's a waste not to live release it Just be sure to get plenty of pics and good measurements and you're all set
  23. One other thing to try is that some trailers get their grounds from the back of the light housing itself, no wire to it. My Ranger is set up that way at first my lights were dim and then totally went out, I took the light housings off cleaned of the back of the plate and they were fine. That reminds me I have to do it again
