I wouldn't dream of walking out that far .

  5. Lol we were renting a small old 3 bedroom cottage . Rent was cheap like 1100 a month. I was working in Hamilton and the wife wanted nothing to do with living downtown. This was 5 years ago now. I'm actually glad it happened. I made a promise to myself to never be that broke again, and now we are buying our first house in a few months.
  6. A few years ago me and the wife were so broke after Christmas we couldn't get the oil truck out to the house in Ancaster ( min. half tank) It was quite embarrassing running to the gas station every other day to fill up Jerry cans of diesel to run through the furnace. Not to mention aggravating priming the pump. We kept the house just above freezing and slept in sweaters, did what we had to do. I feel for my old man, 1880 5 bedroom farmhouse, oil guy shows up every two weeks this winter I cringe thinking what the total will be. We are planning on installing a wood boiler this spring.
  7. You were trying to be nice... Now he is trying to rip you off. Tell him to beat it.
  8. Verry cool, thanks for the info. Is there any online study's that I could read on the radio tagging?
  9. Where to the salmon go in the winter? Just curious if they are way ofshore or in 100 fow?
  10. Well if lake o locks up we could get out for some chinook .
  11. I just ice fished the credit. Lol.

You should be able to use a jig head with a roe bag. I want to drop my marcum camera into a river at some point, I have a feeling it would be awesome on the right pool

  12. I have never seen an own in the wild, and I've spent months in the bush .
  13. Kinda embarrassing but I left my 60" snowblower for the tractor behind one of my barns last spring . I have a 2wd tractor. No snowblower for me this year .

  14. Great tip thanks for the info. I could see if it was a thousand dollar camera not cheating out but with a point and shoot who cares. The batteries are probably made across the street from where the originals were made some place in china.
  15. Wish I was closer. I'm near alliston awaiting a transfer back to kitchener. If it happens anytime soon I will take you up for sure.
  16. I think it will be pretty good on simcoe greasers too. Me and the wife need a few years to save for a cottage, and with this we can do weekend trips , and weeklong trips up the noth end of georgian bay. And enter a few tounaments down on lake o.
  17. I'm looking for a hardtop aluminum in the 22ft + range. It's going to get rigged out for the Great Lakes. So far my choice seem pretty obvious . I'm thinking starcraft Islander. Hoping to find a 26 ft hardtop, If someone knows of another boat that I might not have considered that meets these criteria please let me know . It needs to be able to sleep 2 ,trailerable , and big enough for 4 out on the Great Lakes. I got the spoon puller bug. What can I say. I'm also hoping to stay under 15 k Pros Easy to repair Light Fuel efficient Cheap Takes to banging of rocks better than glass Cons Rougher ride than fibreglass
  18. I had the unfortunate responsibility of being the first responder to a truck on its roof ( everyone was ok) , up near creemore this weekend past while trying to get to meaford, roads were bad then and I doubt there gotten better. I've got 12 ft snow banks up my windswept concession road down here in loretto.
  19. Looks like a blast, I lived 2 hours from myrtle as a youth and have had some great times there over the years.
  20. It wil burn , obviously kero is the best choice. But desiel l work if you have no other choice.
  21. What's it for? If its for a shop heater just burn diesel in it.
