Another great one Raf. Hopefully, your summer will be just as successful! I'm sure you're counting the days to get back to the French. Thanks for the report. Looking forward to more.

Welcome aboard guys! This is the place to be. Remember we love pics!! -
Fabulous News! What did he weigh? He is in excellent hands. The people in the Neo Natal Units are very special people doing very special things! My two preemie grandchildren were born at McMaster Children's Hospital which is why the Canadian Toonie Series supports MacKids. The toughest part now is waiting for him to get big enough and developed enough to go home which may take awhile and can be very physically and emotionally exhausting for the parents. Keep us posted.

GCD, Why not in your boat?? You're usually pretty much undressed in the daylight!!

Goran!!!!!! Where's your PFD??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? (see Whopper's thread!) Nice fish buddy!
-
Great Post Whopper! Read your post and that question certainly went through my head especially given my sense of the type of guy you are. I think as punishment, you should be forced to wear your PFD "ALL WEEKEND" at Lakair (onshore as well)! Good on you for this post. Could help save someone's life. Goran (Uncle Buck) in my boat a few years ago. That sight alone was enough to make me wear mine

Thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep us posted on his progress. Take care and stay strong.

Bunk, Another Classic. I always save your threads till a time when I can read and reread, taking in all details. Thanks for getting me out of the office and onto the water for a short time. Where are you taking me next?

Prayers on their way. My two Grandaughters were both born very, very early. Miranda was 2Lb. 7 (nine years old now) and Maddy was 1 Lb. 14 (6 years now). They are both perfectly fine, our little miracles. They're just a little crazy from their Papa's genes It's a little scary (okay, very scary) when their born so soon and small, but it is absolutely amazing what the Hospital and Staff can do these days. Keep us posted.

Well, it was a small but quality group that got together tonight at the Judge & Jester in Grimsby. Lots of good conversation and a lot of laughs. I was sure that I had met John before, asked him if he knew Buoy Benson. "That was me on the old board!!" Okay, okay, so I had talked to him at a couple of Swills in Oakville! That was a long time ago! He seemed just as nice as Buoy Benson It was also a real pleasure meeting your much better half John. You've got the green light, now get out there and buy that boat!! It was great to see Joe Fish and son Alex. Funny, last time I saw him was the night I sold my last boat Hawg2. Tonight I meet him again after just selling Hawg3. See you in four or five years Joe! It was great to finally have a good chinwag with Tracker (Don). Sonny is a class act and was great meeting him tonight. Also found out he was Jen's brother!! Sorry we didn't get much chance to talk Jen. And last but not least good ole Loonietoon. Nice seeing you again Kelvin. Geez haven't seen you since............last Saturday. If anybody's ears were ringing its probably because we were talking about you. Took this picture of Tracker so everybody would know what he looked like! Jen, Loonietoon, Sonny, moi, Joe Fish, John's wife (dang I'm no good with names, sorry), Joe's son Alex, Tracker, John and Jen's friend (did I say I'm no good with names, sorry) And reverse order.... We'll have to do it again in the fall!

The experts that I know recommend Lowrance and I'm in the works of getting either a 334c or its replacement 522ic. I have a MiinKota 55 LB thrust with both built in transducer and autopilot and love it. It has the electronic footcontrol which I prefer over the huge cable driven ones, but have found that can be a preference thing among anglers. Have not found the turning response unacceptable and a good trade off for me rather than having those huge pedal/cable systems. Only downside of transducer is that it is very generic and doesn't support added features such as the sidescan on my old Humminbird.

Sorry to hear that you won't be there Pete. Enjoy your day with Junior!

I've been waiting for this report. Sounds like everything you wanted it to be except for one thing and boy it sounds like you were thaaaaaat close! That's a great report Dustin, quality time on the water with Dad.

That is AWESOME!! Geez, that's enough for a new boat and................. Congratulations!

"The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked" Great vessel. Congrats. Should give you many years of pleasure and memories.

You're a CLASS act Rick! And the cops done good too! I'm hoping you'll be there for me at Lakair to help me find my way back to my cabin at 11:30

I will be arriving on Wednesday morning with Baby Herc. We're staying in a one bedroom cottage, can't remember the number, but its not on the water. I will be leaving Friday for my 33rd Annual Bass Opening at Lake W. but BabyHerc will be staying the weekend with a buddy of his. Can't wait!
