Chris, I apologize if I seemed to chastize you in my reply. What you did was truly amazing! I guess it just scared me when I thought that it could have easly gone the wrong way and we could have been mourning the loss of a wonderful person from this board. You truly are a hero! I am just glad that you will be around to share some more posts with us!

Today pikeslayerjr came over with a friend of his from school, Jake. I had offered to get them out fishing and naturally told Sean fish stories about the fishing here. You all know the deal; a promise made is a debt unpaid, well I don't like unpaid debts. The snow was deep but I finally managed to break a trail out onto the lake with my ATV after getting stuck a few times, but hey, I'm old and stuborn so I broke a trail out to where I figured we could get some fish. Things didn't start of that great, the guys couldn't find any place that was open to get minnows but I had talked to a friend of mine and he said he would see what he could do. We wern't out on the ice for long and Jake hooked a walleye but it got off on him. Then my friend Jim showed up with minnows. First off, we caught a few perch, then Sean lost a walleye. Then I landed a nice walleye and things just kept getting better. Sean landed his first walleye through the ice, Jake landed his first walleye through the ice, then Jake landed a beautiful muskie with Sean's help. The boys are still out there fishing (I got cold and decided to head in) but I think Sean will be posting a report and pictures later, all I can say is "I LOVE" having these two young men here. Watching them having a wonderful time with experiences they will never forget. How much better can it get!

Well I'm glad it all turned out all right but what the hell were you thinking? Houses can be rebuilt but you risked your life trying to put that fire out and running back in there. I am really glad that you made it and lived to be called a hero but no life is worth risking for material things. Anyway, kudos to you for doing what you did!

Love my HDS5 having both the GPS with charts and the fish finder sure comes in handy.

Beautiful pictures, sounds like a fantastic day. Glad to hear that you made it home safe and sound. I noticed an ATV in one of the photos, are they having much trouble getting around on the lake? I am thinking that I might bring mine up to the Fishing for Tylre thing this year.

Welcome to the board Riley, I'm glad that your dad finally found someone that can teach him how to fish Zoey is one very lucky dog to have found such a wonderful family to live with. I am really looking forward to reading some of your fishing reports and pictures.

Once again, a wonderful day with exceptional friends. I would have posted last night but by the time I got home, got the smelts cleaned and bagged and in the freezer I was done for the day. (A 2:00 am day start will do that to me.) Steve, thank you so much for doing most of the driving, as always I really enjoyed the time we spent solving the problems of the world. Bruce once again, thank you for your company and the goddies the fishing is always fun but the company is what keeps me coming back. I am already looking forward to your visit this summer. We'll have to plan a mini G2G. Steve and I talked about it on the way home and I think that next year we are going to make it an over nighter. I am starting to find that 7+ hours on the road makes for a very long day of fishing.

pikeslayerjr came over this evening for a visit. What a wonderful young man! We talked fishing, played around with my HDS5 trying to figure out how to do some fine tuning that I wanted to do, went over some maps and arial views, and had a nice fish fry. This is one of those young men that anyone would be proud to introduce as their son! You done a good job pikeslayer! One of the nicest evenings I can remember in a very long time! We are already looking forward to seeing him again soon!

The item on the left is just a drain valve, it could be leaking because the seal is gone or because there is a bit of dirt in it. Either way, it is an easy fix. The other one is your fuel adjustment. Don't turn the screw but you can undo the nut and the whole jet will come out as one piece. I would pull the bowl off and check to see if there is any dirt in there, if so give the carb a good cleaning. Getting a carb kit might not be a bad idea, you might need a new bowl gasket anyway depending on how old yours is. If you have any problems, let me know, I can walk you through it. Where are you located? If you are anywhere near Lindsay bring it over I'll do it for you.

We had faxed the customer an authorization form with the VISA number on it, full description of the goods, prices, the name, phone number and address he had provided us. He faxed it back to us with a signature on it and a name. He even provided the 3 digit security number on the back of the card. Turned out all were fake. The fax number belonged to a "mail box store". Could we have done more? Sure we could but we were trying to take care of our customer. It cost us over $4000.00.

Glad you are not doing business with me if that is how you treat suppliers! I just talked to Xplornet the other day and they told me there is a new "Fair Use Policy" coming into effect and that I would be getting a letter about it. Seems they are blaming it on CRTC. You won't pay extra but they will reduce your upload/download speed if you go over your limit. This is from their site. Hope you can read all of this, it is the best I could do.; Fixed Wireless There are different Fair Access Policies that apply to our regular and enhanced services. These two policies are below. Do NOT SHIP THEM OUT!!!!! We had a similar thing happen to us about two years ago. Guy from Quebec called in an order for two generators, gave us the VISA #, we processed it, it was approved, we shipped. Turned out that the card had been stolen and since we hadn't actually had the card in our hand and didn't have the owners original signature, VISA refused to honor the transaction. We did try calling in the cops but they couldn't do much since it was out of province. We tried to contact the freight company that was used (customer had arranged the pickup), they couldn't tell us much because the goods had been held at their warehouse and picked up by the customer. This same scam has been used a lot and you have no recourse once you ship the goods even if VISA approved the transaction.

Thanks for clarifying that, all I knew for sure was that I got stopped last spring with two up and got a warning but I was on the road. And Beans and I can both testify that helmets are required or you pay a $65.00 fine. Right Beans

I received this email from Jackie last night. Hi guys, just wanted to tell you that today I received the most beautiful indoor miniature garden, with ferns and ivy, and cactus, with a little bird inside,thats what it looks like to me, it is absolutely amazing, it is from the Ontario Fishing Network, oh how nice of them to do this for me, so I am asking you Cliff if you could possibly reply to the network for me, as I have no clue how to do it, and I must thank whoever did it and let them know how much it brightened up my day. Also to thank everyone for their support and emails during the past month, such caring people, even those that never met my Jack, sent their condolences to me, I will never forget it.
