  1. Ande, the only line you should ever need
  2. When they send you the bill for "delivery", don't pay it, they haven't delivered anything to you so why should they be billing you. What's the worse they can do, cut your hydro off!
  3. Yep the one on the right is what I have as well, white with red thread. I took the trebles off though, but added a single stinger off the main hook for short strikes
  4. A white airplane jig tipped with a minnow was my go to lake trout lure for years, great lure
  5. Well I do that now as part of the Township fee to maintain the roads and crown land sites, so that won't be too bad as long as the fees are reasonable and they keep it maintained to the level it is now
  6. One of the red areas on the Frontenac map includes a road that I access to fish. I will not be happy if this goes through and I can not access those lakes again.
  7. Haven't they separated yet? What's taking so long?
  8. Is there an over/under on when this topic will be locked?
  9. The eel was probably released by someone into Simcoe, much more likely than getting there from the ocean
  10. Well I think we all would like to have twins for girlfriends or even just a one-nighter, but man, they are the butt ugliest twins I've ever seen. Not sure why the guy has a smile on his face.
  11. Don't worry about it, what are the chances you will be checked anyway.
  12. It literally takes me 50 pulls to get it going and doesn't have the power it's supposed to have, bogs down a lot. It's a Fiskars, which normally make great products. I noticed CTC did not carry them this year, perhaps sales were low, perhaps people caught on. I also wonder how the propane outboard would perform in colder weather
  13. If it's anything like my propane powered weed eater, I wouldn't touch one of them with a 10 foot pole, piece of junk
  14. nice really like the colour of the bottom one
  15. The deer in the tree is a sign of cougars, apparently that is one of their trademarks, taking their kill above ground to stop others from getting it
  16. I lost a giant brown today as well, made me feel 5 pounds lighter
  17. Where were you fishing?
  18. Yes, yes, they were involved because people died, that has to be it for sure and that has to be the only reason... right? Don't you think it was a conflict of interest, regardless of the reason(s) for them being involved?
  19. Now, now, my Father was in the military for 25 years, served in Egypt and so was my brother-in-law, served in Cyprus and Lebanon and his son currently is and has served in Afghanistan. So, let's not get into that, I very much appreciate the sacrifice given by the men and women of all nations, that's not what I meant and you know it. However, let's not bury our head in the sand here by suggesting that the government is always right and isn't above creating a little evil of their own, no government is.
  20. While it seems that not all of the incidents were human error, the vast majority were. http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80beats/2010/07/14/report-many-of-toyota%E2%80%99s-acceleration-problems-due-to-driver-error/ However, the bigger issue for me is/was, why was the US government involved in this issue anyway. Don't worry about answering, we all know the answer. As for your promotion of the US government as the saviour to all things bad and scary, well that's another issue all together.
  21. You do know that the case of the "sticking gas pedal" was proven to be 100% user error, don't you? No mechanical problems were found. If there was ever a case of conflict of interest, it was this one, the American government, part owner of the big 3 NA auto makers leading an investigation into problems with a rival auto maker. As the sales stats show above, it looks like it backfired.
  22. It will only be considered the perfect storm if it takes Gary Bettman out. Until then, it's just a big wrong word storm.
  23. I can't believe I came on here and saw an article about this. Just yesterday I was fishing in Long Schooner Lake north of Plevna, was casting off a rock/weed shoal, looked down in the water and saw something that looked like a jellyfish. Then I see the picture in the link of the jellyfish beside the American penny, that is exactly what I saw, though it looked to be about the size of a quarter in the water. I guess what I wasn't seeing things after all.
  24. That big Timmins fire burned through that area earlier this summer, you might want to contact the MNR to see how much of the area was destroyed
  25. Finally, after countless sightings and reports, there is definite proof that cougars exist in Ontario http://www.torontosun.com/2012... The MNR will have to change their tune now
