the new motor will not have a plug on it, so using the old one is the way to go
-
just so you know, myself and many others find a whole post in large/bold type or in capital letters is hard to read and annoying , so I don't read them, I don't even open threads from people who always type in CAPS so if you were trying to make a point by having large bold fonts..it didn't work because it didn't get read. make the main point in large letters and make the rest normal size and more will take the time to read it

perch isn't happening much but crappie..yappie..there was no room on shore at the bridge area in Bradford and I squeezed my folding boat into the large crowd under the bridge and there was some being caught..the rivers and canals are a go
-
there is a good chance that the holes will match up, so that shouldn't be a problem and you should just remove the old plug and install it on the new one the same way if they are both the same voltage 12/24 had 3 wires while 24 volt motor should just have 2

there are some schools that have taken students icefishing as part of winter electives ( outside the school activities, skiing, bowling etc..), which is a great way to get them hooked if we could get schools to have them in the marinas during the perch run, we could hook them on fishing quicker then a crack pipe

hate to say it bud but we are living in the world of Gov. downsizing..and I would think that getting into that field at this time will be more then just a little difficult ...check out he chances of getting a job in that field and let see what other guys here have to say about it but good luck

and here I just want my kids to be healthy and happy...I guess I have a lot to learn about being a good parent as I stated this thread wasn't about get kids interested in fishing
-
I agree Brian we should have as big crowds as in the states... except Bob and maybe Rocky, I don't think many non tourney guys know any top fishermen....and look how many we have on this board alone..most members don't even know the great pros we have here..I wonder how many know who Hank Gibson was and what he was the first to do..........

I don't think anyone criticized anyone. everyone ,but you is/was or would like to do tourneys that posted and gave their opinion .... there are enough tourneys in Ontario to fish from opening day right into Oct and not miss a weekend so from my point of view, I see it a an industry trying to find a way of making more money one person who agrees with Frank Adamo stated, "tournaments aren't for everybody but they do have a great following.Trust me"...if that was true there would be no need to try to get more people into it, it would happen on it's own.......and I have always been disappointed in the number of people at the weigh ins....the numbers just don't support the interest...I wish it did, I would love more Canadian tourneys to be on tv regularly...but no one will pay the bills to put it there I would go as far to say there should be a regulatory body to regulate tourney fishing....
-
I did bass tourneys for years and loved doing them..but I see the up side and down side of tourneys your post had me thinking at first that you were interested in getting young people into fishing but as I read on I realize that you want to get more/younger people int fishing tourneys, which in my world is two very different things... I would love to get more kids interested in fishing... but I would have no desire getting them involved in tourney fishing..I think that is something that they should grown into and something to set they sights on and work toward I see not reason to make fishing Competitive at a young age..it seems kids are made to compete in to many things as it is

I have used fishfinders for years and years flashers paper graphs, CRT tube screens and LCD finders I always found that in 15ft of water or less they were bottom/weed finders not fishfinders then I bought the Lowrance x15 and it was like I had never used a real fishfinder before trolling in 9ft of water I was marking fish on or within 1inch of the bottom and catching them to me it is the single best fishing buy I have made to date
-
whities,,,,mmmmmmm let me know if you can get out fishing oh and HeyBud...I got them in an email I removed the background and reworked them so I could put them in this thread

you already have one condominium on your road so I am sorry to say you don't have much of a chance of stopping the new condominium from being built........ put a big compost pile of the worst smelling filtered try again please you can find, go to the rezoning meetings and tell them there is a smell that all tenants will have to deal with and that you will have a sign in your front yard warning buys of the extreme smell they will have to deal with in the summer...that might make them think about it down side you will have to put up with the smell too
-
I found out that if you have holes in the bottom of the waders the water will drain out and will not drown you..but could be a few draw backs to that............
-
yeah I know it but can't go, so I too will leave it for others

Charlie Wray was the worst of the worst ....every piece of equipment lure everything was pushed on the viewers every year he got a new boat sponsor and every year it was the best boat he had ever seen and he could not catch fish without that make of boat and Honda motors were the only way to go and if anyone told you different they didn't know what they were talking about, because they were the best of the best..well until he got a new motor sponsor and now it's the best of the best....yeah right sorry Charlie...we see right through you
-
do you mean the minimum size
-
great to hear that you found one does the pool have a plastic liner,, if so we might need to that the hooks off our lures while casting in the pool or cast with magnets for steelhead or Velcro for bikini tops and I will not even talk about what to use while casting for suckers
