they put out ad and press releases that they were going to do it... people will need to rethink the boating ways, detailed hydrographic mapping GPS may be a must for everyones boats who don't stay on just one lake
-
sounds like a lot of fun there should be no problems with the ice this week it's been cold and with the lack of snow the lake has been making ice like crazy even with the warm weather coming I would think there should be a couple more weekends of fishing on ice....but check before heading out......I could be wrong..
-
there was nothing wrong with the pictures ..I think clearly the dog was on the boat by choice and jumped in the water by choice and clearly she was there to get it back too shore safely...... I truly believe people who saw something bad or wrong in your post have personal problems or have something missing in their life and should get their problems addressed before it gets out of hand....

I was just , putting in time at work playing on the puter I was not offended one bit and I don't think anyone should be , I was just pull your leg...
-
well that's why I say the sticker has to stay with the minnows , which is also signed and dated...... it might keep the honest, honest
-
the only way I can see it working is if the MNR has a form and sticker for each person buy minnow they sign your sheet stating they know they can't take them out of the area and what body of water they are using them in and a sticker that goes on the bag or bucket stating bought in banned area can't transport or bought in buffer area or whatever and the sticker must stay with the minnows and the Cos must ask to see the sticker.. pain in the ass but will solve most of the problem and help ease the mind of guys like me..that morons are not dumping banned minnows in Simcoe or balsam or wherever
-
the only problem is how do you stop someone from buying them in the INFECTED ZONE and then take them to Lake Simcoe and screw up my lake....... And We fully understand that someone will indeed do that if we can find an answer to that then they would have my support otherwise I would fight to keep my lake clean and safe from the virus as long as possible sorry that I have a somewhat different opinion
-
I think it all depends on what you fish for and how you fish and where you fish if you like smaller lakes, if you like slow or back trolling weedlines/ dropoffs / shorelines for walleye triller is the way to go for open water and big water trolling, I like a steering wheel

I just googled hick can't print most of the hits but hick A derogatory slang term for lower class whites raised in rural areas, usually within trailer parks or hog farms. Generally used more for Midwesterners than Southerners (see: redneck) General defining characteristics of a hick: Protestant upbringing, usually Baptist; racist and sexist opinions; does not attend collage ; dumber than a post. dang, sure am glad I'm not a hick......lol

now, not everyone.. but for many, once you do it for a living...it just becomes a job and some of the fun leave...... and I love fishing too much..to make it a job... now if I win the lottery..sorry make that..when I win the lottery, I just might go fishing every day...
-
yeah, but sex isn't as much fun, when you're the only one that shows up.... I think may people are just tired of the same old same old if there is something new they want, like a new boat they go but other wise.......it's been there done that

sounds like a good day on the ice
-
very nice Love that area.... with the Herseys chocolate plant closing and the regional center closing that areas two biggest employers maybe I will be able to buy down that way when prices start to drop.......lol

I fish west shiningtree lake. I have never fished east shiningtree lake I always go in August and sept. I stay at baywolf camp, they have boats on lots of back lakes and that's where the best action is but I fish walleye and don't target pike, I think they have boats on lakes with lots of pike but I just have not found enough extra time to try them...... if you have any questions that I can answer, I will do what I can
-
you can never go wrong with Pink Floyd or maybe the Doors
-
say hello to my little friend.... oh fishing rod......no don't name them
-
I too believe they put out that report this time of year, whether the ice is safe or not now having said that...one must check the ice and know the conditions around him and be safe no fish is worth dying for be safe, rivers and river mouths can be very unsafe depending on the amount of water its moving
-
that's great for you and good on them

I just saw a fishing show with Babe Winkleman and he was proud to state that the Ont. Gov. sends him and his family a free complimentary fishing license every year...wish they would give me a free one

this isn't to help buy one but to use one the best tip I can give is a good tip while learning how to use a baitcaster is make the longest cast you can or let out the amount of line you think you can cast then let out about 20 more ft of line and put electrical tape around the line on the spool and reel the line back in now when you cast you will not get a big birds nest because it will stop at the tape, if you get better and more distance on your casts just let out more line and reapply the tape...should you get a big fish on that makes a run, it will pop the tape with no problem great to have the tape on when flipping and pitching too and if you have to cast into a strong wind the tape can save the day you heard it here first
