  13. when the water column is 62/64 deg F the bass spawn and it must stay that temp during the making of the bed... finding a mate and doing the deed.. if the water temp drops below that temp..they go deep and start over the next time the water reaches 62.........high winds and cold fronts can put a halt to the spawn, in Southern Ontario it is a rather small window of opportunity for them to spawn successfully and on many years many bass do not spawn because of those factors and in April and May in Ontario when everywhere you fish for pike you find active bass ,they are in feeding not spawning as many think
  14. commission based C.O.s...NO frigg'n way.......... it's sad but not all people including cops and COs are honest people... and in almost every case it's their word against yours....... .some of them boys would be make 7 digit incomes

  16. yeah it seems there are different stories about it that it's hard to know what the truth is... I did read that the newer plants have little if any smell and that it doesn't take more oil based products to produce it then the amount of ethanol it will produce..... who the hell could ever know what the REAL truth is

  19. chrysler became Force outboard when merc bought them out....I had a lot of luck with chrysler outboards and they were the first ones to do their HP at the prop instead of the crank, so they were fast for thier size
  20. the problem is I still don't know what is Lies and Propaganda and what is the truth... is the story I am reading orchestrated by the gas companies who sure don't want ethanol or is the info scientific fact or a pack of lies to confuse people.....either way it's working, because I am confused..the more I read the less I know......

  23. can you believe this guy is a repeat offender and gets a slap on the hand Mar 28, 2007 By John Slykhuis, Staff Writer More from this author An Oshawa man has been fined $1,000 after taking a walleye and a whitefish from Lake Simcoe after the season was closed. Constantine Sokolowski, 58, pleaded guilty and has his fishing licence suspended for six months. Sokolowski is a repeat offender, according to a Ministry of Natural Resources press release. Court heard that on March 23, 2006, during a routine inspection of a group's catch of yellow perch, Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officers found a large female walleye and a whitefish hidden in a box on their van. The season for walleye and whitefish had been closed since March 15. Mr. Sokolowski admitted the illegal fish were his. Whitefish, lake trout and walleye season all end each year on March 15 to coincide with the removal of fish huts from Lake Simoce. Perch can be fished all year round. Justice of the Peace Philip N. Soloman heard the case in the Ontario Court of Justice in Oshawa Thursday. The ministry reminds you closed fishing seasons are designed to protect fish populations in Lake Simcoe during vulnerable periods, such as spawning. To report a natural resources violation, call 1-877-TIPS-MNR (847-7667) toll-free any time or contact your local ministry office during regular business hours. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
  24. the sump does seem to be the simple easy way to do it and if surface water ever becomes a problem some rainy day, it will clear up that problem too I solve a moisture problem in a crawl space in a house by just spreading plastic on the ground and putting some rocks on it to hold it down
  25. but beaverton looks pretty good for perch and I heard they are doing well for them we could drag out my folding boat if the ice gets too thin
