  1. well that's what they said about Clark Kent and Superman you never see them together......lol
  2. it's not who you know it's who you ... wait what's my number...hmmmmm must be just luck
  3. well I changed over all mine and in Bradford with the poor electric/brown outs and power spikes we get here, I find the CFLs last about 10X as long as the others ...I am happy with them my wife doesn't like them in the spot she reads, not bright enough and hard on the eyes..I told her that's what the public library is for.......lol.................I will pay for that one
  4. I would stay away from Home Depot for installation of anything they hire sub-contractors who in turn hire sub-contractors and no one assumes responsibility for the work I know someone who had one of those poured houses built by HD it was out of level and wrong sizes, no windows would fit ...they are still trying to get it corrected........their dream house ...is a piece of crap that they don't even want to live in now.......I wouldn't let HD install anything
  5. if you are getting someone to install it, then have them do the lights at the same time if you are doing it http://www.accessconnect.com/trailerwiring.htm you can get wiring harnesses that just plug in to you light system... if you only want it for a one time thing to move some garbage, I would go for a lite, cheap hitch
  6. isn't it in New Brunswick...lol

well microsoft always puts their systems in the stores before they have the bugs worked out... and in a year or 3 and 3,200,000..00 updates later...they might have the bugs out
  12. dang i use them for walleye...errr...pickeral
  13. well I just use a part of a hockey stick and a wood clamp..works well for me
  14. they put out ad and press releases that they were going to do it... people will need to rethink the boating ways, detailed hydrographic mapping GPS may be a must for everyones boats who don't stay on just one lake
  15. sounds like a lot of fun there should be no problems with the ice this week it's been cold and with the lack of snow the lake has been making ice like crazy even with the warm weather coming I would think there should be a couple more weekends of fishing on ice....but check before heading out......I could be wrong..
  16. there was nothing wrong with the pictures ..I think clearly the dog was on the boat by choice and jumped in the water by choice and clearly she was there to get it back too shore safely...... I truly believe people who saw something bad or wrong in your post have personal problems or have something missing in their life and should get their problems addressed before it gets out of hand....
  17. I was just , putting in time at work playing on the puter I was not offended one bit and I don't think anyone should be , I was just pull your leg...
  18. well that's why I say the sticker has to stay with the minnows , which is also signed and dated...... it might keep the honest, honest
  19. the only way I can see it working is if the MNR has a form and sticker for each person buy minnow they sign your sheet stating they know they can't take them out of the area and what body of water they are using them in and a sticker that goes on the bag or bucket stating bought in banned area can't transport or bought in buffer area or whatever and the sticker must stay with the minnows and the Cos must ask to see the sticker.. pain in the ass but will solve most of the problem and help ease the mind of guys like me..that morons are not dumping banned minnows in Simcoe or balsam or wherever
  20. the only problem is how do you stop someone from buying them in the INFECTED ZONE and then take them to Lake Simcoe and screw up my lake....... And We fully understand that someone will indeed do that if we can find an answer to that then they would have my support otherwise I would fight to keep my lake clean and safe from the virus as long as possible sorry that I have a somewhat different opinion
  21. I think it all depends on what you fish for and how you fish and where you fish if you like smaller lakes, if you like slow or back trolling weedlines/ dropoffs / shorelines for walleye triller is the way to go for open water and big water trolling, I like a steering wheel
  22. I just googled hick can't print most of the hits but hick A derogatory slang term for lower class whites raised in rural areas, usually within trailer parks or hog farms. Generally used more for Midwesterners than Southerners (see: redneck) General defining characteristics of a hick: Protestant upbringing, usually Baptist; racist and sexist opinions; does not attend collage ; dumber than a post. dang, sure am glad I'm not a hick......lol
  23. now, not everyone.. but for many, once you do it for a living...it just becomes a job and some of the fun leave...... and I love fishing too much..to make it a job... now if I win the lottery..sorry make that..when I win the lottery, I just might go fishing every day...
  24. yeah, but sex isn't as much fun, when you're the only one that shows up.... I think may people are just tired of the same old same old if there is something new they want, like a new boat they go but other wise.......it's been there done that
