  4. why is it We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in Canada but we haven't got a clue as to where thousands of Illegal immigrants and Terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

  6. I'm with Big Cliff on this one $3500.00 is about right
  7. very nice guys sounds like a great time
  8. oh that's part of a rats rib cage just kidding, call the company that made it and get to the bottom of it
  9. the only sinking ice I have ever seen is in rivers that have a dam or something blocking the spring run off and it busts or a flash flood and flows over the ice, which pushes it to the bottom if that is what you are talking about
  10. funny you should say that as I was making plans to pick up my boat this coming weekend, I just can't remember removing the plug when I stored it... I am sure my trailer would be bent and the tires flat if I did forget oh well I will know next Saturday, one way or the other
  11. great report and great pictures...
  12. another areas closed..man that sucks years and years and years ago I use to camp right there in the summers..
  13. welcome to eastern Ontario.... oh and you can just keep that white stuff down there, I will keep the rain here
  14. great report (note to self "keep more duct tape on boat, car, truck and ATV")
  15. LOL I guess it was....LOL I did mean to say carp....dang
  16. gee...it really is all about the photos...lol the photos were not very good so I played with them
  17. I had to go down to lebarons to return a transducer and pick up the right one for my x67c on Saturday day morning I must say it was a good experience, seems customer service is back a Lebarons..wonder when that happened got back and thought what the heck, so I took the folding boat down to the river for a little crappie fishing.... many boats were by the trees so I went under the bridge...not many crappie were being caught but I saw a few real big ones brought in but not by me they were using minnows I was using plastic..that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it after about 20 mins I see the float go down and the fight is on...well not really what ever it was, it was small...yup the prize was a 7" perch....everyone one else was catching 13" crappie and I get a stunted perch..story of my life but hey I am out to relax so who cares.... I did get into some crappie...small crappies but they were fun to catch didn't I call this thread something about "carp master" so as time goes on the float goes down and takes off fast I set the hook and say to myself " self you have got a bass on there, so put the camera away cause you don't need that crap" well that sucker just kept running and I knew it wasn't a bass it wasn't even that big but damn did it give me a fight I just might have to look into this carp fishing the guys have been talking about I wonder if there is the Carp Masters Classic on ESPN so where is it I by that corn stuff anyway...good way to spend a few hours on a Saturday
  18. are you sure
  19. you are hooked on tourneys just wait in a year or 2 you will be throwing down all your money on a new one but do you think a 200 is big enough..275 would bet you there quicker
  20. yeah but she only charges people to use her docks, not to catch fish, so you got what you paid for...lol sorry.......but sometimes that is the best place on the whole river to catch them..but it's a crap shoot, make that a crappie shoot.......I heard that this week they were catching them at alberts marina with is a bit before that place on the right
  21. funny I found it lame in my world everyone doesn't target OOS fish people don't take pictures to boost ones own ego(stat sheets) in my world we don't need to tell little white lies a couple of years ago when I took that kid out fishing for his very first time and he happened to catch an OOS bass I didn't snap the picture for ego, to show the world or to hold on to it till season opened it I didn't snap the picture to show the fish I took the picture to show the face, the pure joy in a kids face after catching the first fish he ever caught the fish was secondary at best any time I take pictures it to remember the trip the joy, to save a moment in time when the guy down the road from me came and told me that he caught what he thinks is a bass and he said it was a monster..I told him it would be out of season he said yeah he thought that and let it go, but said it was the first time he caught something other then sunfish and bullheads said he would show me when he got the film done yup it was a 5lb large mouth,,,and by the smile on his face you could see that it was the hi-lite of his fishing to that point.. and in your world you find something wrong , or deceptive with that well I will stay in my world where the smile on ones face is what the picture is about
  22. well the MNR with the new regs..when every they come out are opening up even more year round and early season bass fishing..so I guess they don't believe their our experts.. but really I don't dissagree with anything your wrote this time.. and I would never tell or want people to target OOS fish, I don't take pictures of OOS fish and I know better then posting them here.... but you and I know an OOS fish means nothing.. but you have a 8 year old kid out fishing for pike and he catches a OOS bass 7lbs and a picture will mean a lot to him just to prove he caught the thing...... I understand the need to encourage people not to play around with OOS fish but I see nothing in the law that makes it illegal..moral..well that's a different argument for a different day
  23. again people make up the regs and the law of nature to suit their own crap the fact is most fish are OOS in the spring when the water is cold, fish being cold blooded do much better and survive abuse much better in cool temps then the warmer summer temps, as do muskie, but of course you know that
  24. seems people just make up the regs to suit their cause.. the wording is the same for slot fish and OOS fish the word is immediately and everyone know you can't target them or harm them..that has nothing to do with taking a picture of a fish people throw all this other crap into their post to try to confuse and trick you into believing something that is just not a fact...there is no law against anyone taking a picture of a fish of any kind oh and they tell you to read the tips on releasing fish they tell you to take a quick picture...
