Koscheck faked the first round knee and then played blanket the last two rounds. I really dislike him and GSP wont like him too much either after they coach against each other. What a tool. WAR MACHIDA!

Lipless crankbaits are also your friend. Casting for lakers is my favourite thing to do. Although 58deg is pushing a little deeper. If you think there in 7-10fow, cast away. Rippin hair jigs is also a good thing.

The chances of the second-rounder being equal or greater than Kessel is infantessimally small. Hopefully the leafs make it to at least mid-pack next year and the first rounder the Bruins pick at that point will not be a proven goal scorer at the NHL level either. The chances of the first rounder this year? Pretty good assumption that it will be a good quality player. Will Hall or Seguin be at 30 goals next year? If yes, then this trade is at worst a wash. And if Kadri is brought up and dissapoints? Then that too was a failure of a draft pick. If he does well? Then Burkies a genius. My guess is that Kadri is equal/ 1/2 step behind both Hall and Seguin.

Yeah, I guess if the Leaf draft pick is on the team and they get beat by a better team, it must mean that the player sucks. Weird how that works. Good thing Chiarelli is such a wizard throwing all that money at Derek Morris and Michael Ryder. They really covered the goals Kessel would've potted. If it werent for Rask, they would have the first two picks in this years draft.

Tell that to the Halibut... Nothing like a solo to get yer mind going. Hope alls well. Guess I'll get in line to wet a line. Later dood.

The way I see it, Kadri is absolutely tearing it up in the Knights playoffs. He was voted by his peers as equal to or exceeding Hall and or Seguin in many facets of the game. If memory serves me correctly, The draft day deal last year that would have seen Kessel come to the Leafs included the Leafs pick(Kadri was the player) and Kaberle. Would you have done that deal? I wouldn't. Burke had every reason to doubt that he was trading a 1st or 2nd overall pick. So they still have a great bargaining chip in Kaberle, a very highly rated prospect in Kadri and a proven 21yr 30 goal guy in Kessel. I'd say Bozak was a good outside aquisition as well.

You can wrap a pile of line around a tip-up and drag tubes. To suggest any combo is better than another is a matter of personal opinion. Like someone else mentioned, I also use that particular setup for grubs, soft twitchbaits, and my favourite for spring pike(sub the fluoro for a quality steel leader). Awesome jerkbait setup.

Good for Frankie!!! I was out of my seat at the end. BJ looked to me like he was a little disinterested. The Silva fight pretty much went the way I thought it would. Boring.
-
I use a 2500 Stradic on a 7' Compre with 15lb fireline and a nice long fluoro leader. You'll get absolutely no complaints from me on this setup.

Ive had plenty of smallies hit lures in shallow water after iceout.

First, I'd replace whatever concoction you have going on with the coupled supply behind the toilet with a single supply line. The float valve should have a screw that controls the flow rate to the tank. Could be theres some debris in the float valve assembly, its not too expensive to replace. Like someone else said, the problem could also be further down the line. When you said the copper pipe was vibrating, did you mean the 3/8line to the toilet or the 1/2in coming out of the wall?

Didn't really see anything that said he actually wrestled the shark... He shot it from outside the pen and then, while it was distracted, hog-tied it and pulled it out of the water. Meh.

You guys are dreaming if you think Kongo, Cro Cop and Yvel can be considered elite strikers. Kongo is like Carwin. If he catches you, you get hurt. Look at what he did against Buentello. Would you consider Buentello "elite"? Doubt it. Kongo wanted no part of the stand up there. CroCop and Yvel were once upon a time considered among the best, but those days are gone. Dos Santos has VERY good hands and would be the only guy on that list that may even be considered a top tier striker. Velasquez is very close and is,IMO, a more complete fighter then any of them. Junior/Cain will be a great fight! As far as tonights event, I have GSP being a little too good for Hardy. With a but...Hardy is much closer in size to Georges than any of the other WW that GSPs faced in the recent past. His boxing is also more convincing. GSP is going to bring the best we've seen and, as long as he doesn't get caught too often, will prevail. 3rd Round TKO. Carwin hits Mir. Mir wakes up sometime next week.1st Round.

I have to agree with Craig. Unhooking in the water is by far the best way to release quickly. However, I use alot of spinners and cranks to fish rainbows and alot of them get hooked real well. Using the same gill hold as on a muskie or pike keeps the fish under control alot better then tailing the fish 99% of the time. And if pics MUST be taken, take them of superior fish. Once you've seen one steelhead, the rest are clones. A pb? Sure. A first? Why not. But for most avid 'headers, the pics may as well just be scans of previous fish. Catch a 10-20lb fish, I'll be interested. EDIT: After reading Dr. Salvenius' thread, I will say that I really enjoy pics of trout in the water. Real cool. And it saves the bashing that the angler is sure to endure if the spot hes at is recognized as someone elses spot.

Looks good... But why do I have to double click to page back???

I took a day trip to Haliburton today. LOTS more open water then I expected to see at this time of year. No-one out on the ice. If theres current, the ice is going fast. The smaller landlocked puddles are still froze up to the shore, but the bigger lakes won't take long to go out. About a month early and LOW water levels. Got me thinking about the boat though!

^^^ this. Also, just like people making excuses fishing bass out of season, I can also see some of the more unscrupulous anglers pulling musky under the pretense of "spring pike fishing". I've seen it in the past. Doesn't bode well...

Huh? I've been a good little squirrel and was saving for a Lowrance. Not an Eagle. Its a long trip out that way for alot of people. Especially something fairly big ticket like that. Congrats on the guys that got one. Guess my trip on the 27th will still be for the 135 which will be 20$ off instead of another 100$ for the model that you guys got at what sounds like 500$ off...Theres a case there.

70 turned Chuck Norris yesterday. He didn't need to blow the candles out. He looked them out.

For the most part, I think it would be a call in the moment. They've seen it all. They know how long it takes to get a quick pic, where you are fishing in relation to OOS fish/crossover species in same area, HOW you are fishing, etc. They aren't dummies. You hold a big OOS bass up for 10pics, or Muskie, they will probably decide you are handling the fish exessively and may approach you. 20 seconds out, probably not. I maintain that unless its a release shot, theres no other need for a pic of an OOS fish than to feed an ego.

I'm no economist. In fact I'm not very prudent when it comes to money in the first place. Thats what my better half is for . But all things considered, the GST was ripped on because it taxed everything. Guess what? That, economically, is sound thinking and gets peoples goat because they can't escape it. I believe the GST is a major reason why Canada is still treading water while many of the worlds economies stumble. Instead of cutting the GST, I think Harper/Flaherty should have cut some personal income tax. The HST is just another one of these taxes that hits eveyone. End of the line. Pay tax. You can't escape it. I'm really not looking forward to paying extra at each corner. Who would? But I think it may be a stepping stone to a resurgent Ontario, and as a tradesman, I can only hope the province starts pushing work pronto. Dalton could have at least made it a more palateable 10% and the fact that he pushed it through as fast as he did doesn't sit well. But end of use taxes get everyone and for a gov't thats an ideal scenario. I'd also be interested in some substantial tax cuts here in ON as well. I really do hope it benefits you guys and gals who are owner operators. Again, I'm no economist and Feel free to steer me in the right direction if I'm offbase.

Heres a thread with a few ideas in it. Gerritt ,I believe, also did a floor and deck reno a few years ago. Also a follow up thread on the rear casting deck frame for my 14ft. Like one of the previous posters said. Don't breach the hull! Good luck and keep us posted on the progress! Casting Deck Lund reno

So do you assume that the PTP wattage has an effect on the strength of the signal? If so, the Lowrance has that battle won x2. Sounds logical. I don't understand the term peak to peak? Are you saying that if you don't use the fish symbols, you only have use of the narrow field? Thanks for the input.
