OK ... I admit to the long-arm technique ... but it came out fabulously .. dont ya think... And no .. that was not me in the video ... I was the voice behind the video... Wayne has it right ... Scotch all the way for me ... that was most certainly a Beer aided episode (of course the driver was 100% sober) ... although I believe a bottle of Belvanie was involved as a prelude ... and so far the weight of 2lbs is actually the closest ...

Thank god for Liquigels ... and Cortisone shots .. too bad that doesnt actually fix the problem But be VERY careful with Celebrex in my opinion it is EVIL .. it works like a charm ... and you'll even dance cartwheels... until it knocks the stuffing out of you and completely unbalances your immune system ... I broke out in severe hives every time I missed a dose until I figured out what was causing it...anyone got the enbril or humara going on (at $5,000 a pop ?)

Deepest condolences ... it's always too soon but hopefully her light will shine on in you and the family she shared her 93 years with

Not bad for a Speck eh fellas !

So instead of a long drawn out report ... I thought I'd post a couple of shots that would speak for themselves .. and then .. of course the money shot ... prize to the first guy who guesses the actual size and length of the fish - no trick photography .. at least no tricks we dont all use Pretty views of the Mountain lake at our little camp ... A little Barbeque with the Boys ... A little Vino ... Long Long night .. and the morning after ... All the boys (at least the boys would could be there this weekend ... And of course the money shot ....

I saw a total of Four bears this weekend ... three near Rocky Crest (on Hamer Bay road) mother and two cubs (apparantly she has a total of four cubs this year) - in broad daylight ... rumor has it someone at the general store is feeding them ... not too bright if its true ... then another the next day over by Minett (again mid-day) ... all made tracks into the woods but nonetheless I was glad to be in a car and not on foot at the time ...thats more than I have ever seen in a season - let alone a weekend

Three mile has a good population of pickerel ... head to the 24' deep area at the far north-eastern end of the lake and fish along the wall ( about 50' from shore early in the morning or late in the evening .. just drift a good ol worm a few feet off bottom will do ya Good luck

I know ... despite being an outdoorsy type, I have only seen a few over the years .. funnily enough I saw three (Momma and two cubs) on Hamer Bay road as I was driving in to Rocky Crest on Friday night so thats 4 bears in three days ... a record for me ... and enough to really make you think about those early morning/late evening walks in Muskoka !

I know exactly what you mean Lew, over the years I have been that guy (in the canoe) and left feeling somehow responsible because I dared to try and share the bigger lake with boats three times my size ... I dont really enjoy canoeing anywhere except the small back lakes nowawadys because once too often I have been one strong paddle stroke away from being swamped by some yahoo who believed that I was just a nuisance between where he was and where he wanted to be ... anyhow - at least it didnt end badly this time and good on you for being courteous and considerate ... too bad we can't all be like that
