Sounds like things are good, good to hear Rick. A true story in the spirit of Thanksgiving. When I take off in a float plane I always get choked up. There's people who don't have food for themselves or their kids and I'm on a plane for the sole purpose of going fishing for a week. How am I so lucky?

I had Sunday morning free. Late Saturday night I still couldn't decide what species to target or what lake to visit. There's so many options this time of year. I went for skis. It was a one follow, one strike, one fish morning. I could have been better, it could have been worse too. I did find an old memory card with some trail camera pics at the cottage. Cute little bugger that could probably rip your hand off pretty quickly. Uh oh, I wasn't really looking for you. All seasons are great up there, but this time of the year is awesome.

Last week I had big minnows left over from walleye fishing (5 or 6 inch suckers), kept them, then took them out on my lake, heavy 3 way rig fishing deep, and caught these. You can't beat big meat this time of year.

I don't know what you're fishing for, but I like bigger minnows this time of year.
