It's also a tough line up to crack, the habs do not have a lack of tallented defenceman. Subban should get a chance next season to start, he sure has earned it.

Your right Pittsburgh will be gone in 5 games

Ovechkin hits, checks and grinds out on the ice, Crosby dosn't battle like Ovi and they were pretty equal in stats this year only because Crosby played 15 or more games. The one thing I do like about Syd the kid is he's finnally stopped crying about every check. They didn't need a Zamboni in Pittsburg for the previous 4 yrs they just flooded the ice with Crosby's tears hahahahaha.Anyway both those dudes better move over soon, Stamkos will be taking over. If the habs can shut down the most powerfull offence in the league they should be able to take out Pittsburg. Watch out for Detroit, the best team since the Olympic break is beginning to roll and they like winning Stanley Cups

Try first weeks of June for Maitland

this is one of my favorite baits, chartreuse is the best, this stuff is a paste and what you do is take a bit out of the jar and roll it in your hand into a tight ball then mold it to the hook. Berkley power eggs in chartreuse with a piece of corn also is deadly. The secret is to use small fine wire hooks #12 owners are my favorite and 1 or 2 small split shot, and small floats.I fish a stocked pond for the next week thats my trout opener hahahahah. This weekend actually marks the end of steelheading the tibs for me, except maybe the Niagara and Port Dalhousie, I stay away from the Northern Trib zoo this weekend, getting to old for that party lol

Nice I watched them put 2 pens in at Port Dalhousie on Wedensday -
I had the same problem one season and it turned out to be plugged fuel line from the gas tank. I was filling the boat with jerry cans of gas and scratching off little bits of plastic off the can nozzel,These little bits eventually clogged the fuel line and would starve the engine of gas under load.I would get some gas through the line but not enough to accelerate with. When my float stuck the engine would flood right out, would be real tough to start it again. It may be a carburator I'm no marine mechanic my brother is, take it to St Catharines Marina ask for Mike, he'll fix you up in no time.

I've flipped a couple of boats using chain hoists, 1 on the front eye and 2 on the back hooked to each transome eye. It's not hard to do, it's easier with 3 people one on each hoist. Go slowly, just a give & take sort of thing.

Hey Mike I bought 2 150yd spools of 2-10 Power Pro for $10.00 the day I saw you at Port D, Maybe I can hook you up next time your down there. The stuff I got this time is red, but it seems to work the same as green. Another trick on the lighter braids, especially in cold weather is spray the line with leather protectant or silicone spray this brings it back to original condition. Braids when new have a coating which wears off after prolonged use, when given a spray of protectant every few trips the line casts farther and also reduces Icing in the winter.

Like Rick said hit or miss as to if you get tossed out.I know a few guys with permission to fish there one of them is the guy who made the Bass fishing show, the other is the guy who made the Fly Fishing Steelhead show.

I saw my Local C.O washing his truck in the driveway enjoying his Easter Weekend, the Province can't afford paying these guys to work Holidays. They deserve a family weekend with there children at Easter Time, beleive or not C.O's actually have lives with wives and kids and familly time is important at Easter.

Rainbow fishing in the Niagara is good right into June, like mentioned before during the smelt run fishing gets tough around Queenston. The whirlpool seems to be the spot right now, everything down here is about 2-3 weeks early the smelts usually run about mid-month, Lake Ontario is 2-3 degrees warmer right now compared to previous years and is 28" lower.

What do you mean no proof, do they think the shoreline got like that naturally. The proof is pretty obvious OPEN YOUR EYES!!!! Pretty feeble excuse if you ask me,again there just passing the buck. Wait till I see Randy hehehehe.

Come down and fish some N.Y state Lake Ontario tribs during the chinny run, it's bad much like Bronte, never fished Michigan tribs so can't say if the tribs are bad.But if there close to large populated cities I'm sure they'll be some what of zoo tactics going on. As for garbage it all depends on the traffic a trib gets, although I will agree the N.Y state and Pensyvania tribs I've visited are well kept. -
I agree not the most exciting way to fish, good for drinking beers and barbecuing and just relaxing, especially after a long morning fighting crowds drifting with little success.Great way to spend an afternoon and you never know at times it can be a very hot bite.I like the idea of the brown snake with the blower

I use to fish like this alot, for sinkers we use 3/4-1oz egg sinkers and larger roe bags nickle size and bigger. Always use floaters in your roe bags, years ago we would break up styrofoam and use the small balls for floats but today you can buy actual floaters.3-5 floaters should be sufficient. Yes we cast out as far as we could, set the rod in the stand, sit back and keep a sharp eye out. We fished alot on the shale flats at Craigleath and had some real good days, it is a very relaxing way to fish and a change from the river drifting. My rig is #10-#12 hook, 12-18" leader, small swivel, bead, egg sinker. When the fish grabs the roe bag the line slips through the egg sinker and the fish dosn't feel the weight.

I beleive it's an El Nino year so look out for some strange weather patterns,Lake Ontario is down 28" right now. Without any winter run-off all the lakes are going to be way down this year.

I'm 48yrs old and have hunted and been a gun owner since I was 16yrs old and I agree it was simple to acquire firearms and amunition when I first began hunting. Unfortunatly the world has changed alot since then and I for one agree with Hunter education aswell as responsible education in owning and possesing firearms. I am not an advocate of the soon to be scraped gun registry but I do support the courses and education needed to aquire a gun today. If you think things are worse up here try getting on a comercial air flight in the us.Perhaps our society is'nt the wild west but I think it's in alot better shape then any other country in the world

Thats the price we pay to live in a civilized society, I kind of like it here
-
There you go grab that deal!!!!!!!!!!
-
Thats a great deal and you won't be sorry you installed on your boat. I personally think all boats fishing big water should have a marine radio there a very valuable tool and can help you out of an emegency situation. Here on the Lake Ontario we use them constantly for weather updates and to keep in touch with the other fisher's, lots of times my buddies have helped me out and put me on fish and like wise I do the same. I don't think you'll be diappointed with this purchase and that is a great price now just match it up with a good antenna which will be close to the same price.
