Unless it's a Boston Whaler chances are it will sink right to the bottom, it may flip over and trap some air which will keep it floating for a period of time.

It don't get any easier open hit for the gold basicaly a no brainer, brutal my gut hurt for an hour after that miss, can you say CHOKE. Poor Cheryl and the rest of the team will have nightmares for years after that game
-
Brutal, is all I can say. I curled competively for over 10yrs and an open hit to win the gold is a gift, an easy nose hit and it's over not even having to save the shooter, anything but jam it easy oooops. The an easy double to win the gold oooops inside no chance what a choke, just plain brutal at that level of play, Cheryl snatched defeat from the hands of victory.

What happened in the last 8min they fell asleep, and gave Slovakia an extra forward named Patrice Bergeron, he's freaking brutal. Please Babcock keep Patrice on the bench, team Canada is having a hard enough time with these other teams no need to give the oponent another player.

I don't care if a guide promotes his business, just tell the truth.....on one thread it's 65 fish and on here it's 100 which is it? Maybe the "UNBELIEVABLE" part of the thread is how 65 turns into 100, saying that the thread trully is what it is UNBELIEVABLE

I can see Olympic committee's point it was the only Womens hockey game worth watching. However it was a great game congratulations to Canada and to the USA. Both teams played well and fortunatly Canada came out on top this time. It's a shame the European women havn't got into hockey like the North Americans.
-
I agree with you bud, but this is not a good business practice when your running a guide service. It's one thing for the average dude to stretch a story a tad but misrepresenting your business is IMO shamefull. It's not only unfair to the clients it also is bad for the other area guides who tell the truth and run there business in an honest and truthfull maner.
-
FOR SHAME,dude if you want to guide you gotta be honest or you'll rep will be destroyed. To be successfull in the guiding business your reputation is the single most important thing you have beyond anything else.

WOW,gotta eat some crow here, a spectacular effort from Canada, now that team resembles gold medal quality.Seems to me this roster was put together to play Russia and they dominated every aspect of the game, completly throughing the Russian scorers off there game. In the first period the Russians seemed to be in shock and could do absolutly nothing, just an icredible effort from Canada's checking line to shut them down, Ovechkin was not even noticable on the ice.Fantastic game from the Canadian players, now I hope they keep the intensity up for Slovakia, they won't be a push over lots of tallent on there team aswell. I'm happy the Canadians are making me look like an idiot armchair manager hahahaha, GO CANADA GO

They use to sell these units as a combo you got both transducers in one package, not sure if the combo is still available

I don't think it ripped his heart out, just the opposite it may have showed him to get some heart because he finally scored an olympic goal, his first. He's been a disappointment every olympic game he's played maybe this move will put his ego in check and he gets with the program.

The team actually looked really good last night, rushing the net, taking shots and creating a ton of oportunities. I know this was Germany they were playing(weakest team in the Tournament), but Canada stuck to there game plan and really played as a team. This is a good sign going into todays match with Russia, they have to play the same way or they won't have a chance. Perhaps Team Canada is gelling together finally and with some decent goal tending they may pull it off tonight.I'm sure it will be nail biter tonight one way or another. I think coach Babcock is doing a great job, using Crosby for the penalty shot is just playing the percentages, if it works he looks like a genius, if not, chump. He is getting the players to stick to simpler game plan and getting them away from the finess, hero crap. Take lots of shots and get bodies in front of the net, thats how you win at this level with every team busting with tallented players and great goalies.
-
I wouldn't say criticisizing a national team that for some reason leaves it's greatest tallents off the roster is exactly cheering against them. As a fan of the game it frustrates me to see how mismanaged our national hockey team is, because I don't think this group is good enough to win medal dosn't mean I'm any less Canadian.
-
Now we're talking, this the talent needed for a gold medal, I would add Phenuf for Pronger, Pronger is nothing but a dirty embaressment to Canada and in fact International Hockey. How many points does Green need to make our stinking olympic team? does he actually have to double all other defencemen in the league? Midway into Feb and Stamkos has 35 goals, 4th in the NHL and he dosn't make the team but there's room for Bergeron. Canada's olympic roster is a joke period
-
I totally agree, and Green and phanuf may have been a smart pick also, I still do not understand how these players aren't here.

Hats off to the USA for getting in front of the net and frustrating Brodeur to the point of making mistakes. Sure Canada was all over the Americans but not rushing the net, Millar had clear view of 95% of the shots making his job alot easier. The only way to beat a hot goalie is to get in his face, hats off to the American defence for keeping the Canadian forwards away from the front of the net. Canada for one reason or another is doing a terrible job of controling the front of the net, the goalies in this tournament are the best of best if they can see the puck coming there going to stop it.
-
The big thing that through Brodeur off his game is the American team constantly battling for position in front of him. This is somthing Canada needs to do more of, nothing will through a goalie off quicker then having guys in front of him constantly. Canada gets lots of opportunities but dosn't have anyone rushing the net consistantly, leaving the goalies with a clear view of the shots. They only seem to be rushing the net against Norway, they have to stop playing the cutesie finesse style and rush the goal and cause some crap in front of the net.
-
The great Canadian Pylons were out in full, hats off to team USA a young fast tallented team that skates circles around our old washed up defence. Pronger, Niedamier old has beens that can't keep up with the young quick tallent of the US, thats what happens when you get a ex-hockey player picking your team. Canada is getting exactly what they deserve when they leave there best young tallent watching the games on T.V, there going no where in this tournament. It's just like 4yrs ago brutal.
-
Hopfully a wake up for Canada, but I don't think so, this team is going no where just like 2006. I think Russia got a big wake up last night aswell losing to Slovakia. This tournament is up in air, any of the top teams can win the gold
-
are you kidding me.....Russia is by far the deepest team in talent.....after that said it's pretty close for 5 of the top teams. Findland, russia, usa, check's, sweed's, slovakia, canada are all about equal in tallent, I think Russia has the best, but all that being said it's the team who runs on all cylinders is going to win this competition. The gold medal is up for grabs and from what I've seen so far it's still up for grabs! Anyone of the teams I mentioned have the talent to win this thing, Canada is just one team in the mix, anyone of the for mentioned teams has the tallent to go all the way.

He's as useless as Bush on every issue, he's a great talker but falls short as an actuall doer. -
By the way I hope Canada wins gold .........and if they do I will gladly eat crow and take all the I told you so's you guys fire in my general direction

I choked on the forwards due to one man,Federov who is 40yrs old this brings the Russian average way up, I think he's just there as a token to his years of outstanding play for the Russian Federation. In the defence end of the average, Drew Doughty at 20 brings Canada's average way down and to have him on the roster and leave Mike Green off is the most ridiculous move I've seen in olympice hockey, except for leaving Crosby off the poor excuse team we sent to the last Olympics.Mike Green is the highest point defenceman in the league year in year out by a long shot and after the lack of offence and goals in the last Olympics I think there would be a place on the roster for the best offensive defencmen in the NHL. The other thing that peaved me off with Canada's roster is leaving Steve Stamkos off the team, come on the dude's got 35 goals so far this season well on his way to a 50+ goal year. He more then proved himself in international competition in his short hockey career. He is a pure goal scorer, something I would think Canada needs in this tournament, this guy has great hands , a great shot, excellent skater, yet he watches the tournament on T.V give me a break. Canada should maybe get a General Manager to pick the roster instead of ex hockey heros

Wisdom don't win hockey games and I lost my youth 30yrs ago
