  1. I'm in my own world most days.
  2. My dad said he used cigarette buts and beer caps for rainbows. lol..the good old days, I know the beer caps work.
  3. LOL, I've been trying not to post GBay in these treads because it's probably the least pressured musky water out there, believe me there are no big fish out here, waste of time fishing the bay, all the big ones are in MN and Wisconsin I think people are getting Georgian and Green Bay mixed up, the big girls are over there with Brett Favre, Marc was just being nice.
  4. Nice one Wayne. I've caught some huge smallies on worm harnesses to, anything that spins.
  5. Don't you know all the Steelhead pics should be blurred out in the background, someone that has never been there could recognize that tree branch and bring 20 guys to your secret spot. Nice pic, beauty fish.
  6. Hey thanks Nip, I live very close to that and didn't even know about it, it might help. Is that up to the minute that were looking at ?
  7. Somewhere in Canada. I think the places Roy mentioned have shown the biggest average fish, and have a great chance also the French river. But I think there are a couple freaks of nature swimming out there, it's like predicting where the next 8 foot man will come from, you just never know, (look at all these 7'10" Chinese men showing up lately playing basketball, you can't explain it, they are as rare as it get's) I guess it will be an accidental catch somewhere in Ontario, or it will be a floating fish that died of old age.
  8. I freez'm they work just as good dead in a lot of presentations.
  9. Looks top notch jigger, light weight and durable. Looks like you had more fun with the Export A's and Mooseheads though.
  10. You could just add a little piece of wood like the pic above for the motor. If you want the deck to raise up and see better for casting, they are great. The only thing to consider is the extra weight of the wood and batteries, they can slow a small boat down quite a bit, if you have enough power or you don't mind going a little slower than go for it, they are easy enough to build. There were a few posts the other day a few pages back.
  11. Your a the top of the world in that one Bookoo, nice pic. Just got a digi cam in the fall, never had a camera before, seen this rattler and a few bears swimming 3 days in a row in October swimming to Islands, but didn't get any good shots of a bear, also one bear was in a cottage on an Island, my dad and the contractor that takes care of the cottage had to go kill it, it wouldn't leave the house, and he tore everything up, looked like a keg party the day after.
  12. Only when they snap, then there names are #$%^, @#$@, !#$!$ and $#%#^.
  13. Yes they work good. In the long run it would be easier on your big motor and cheaper to use a kicker motor instead of running your main motor all day, especially with the price of gas, a drift sock does the trick too. If you get one don't forget to put it up before you take off full blast. I think they make automatic ones now that automatically flip up after a certain amount of pressure from the prop.
  14. Man' I've seen two yellow beavers in the last week, must be mating season. Nice pics.
  15. I make jigs, walleye harnesses, crank baits like the ones above (they look nice gbfisher) and spinner-baits bucktails etc.. It's a good hobby really, I enjoy making and catching fish on my own stuff. You can definitely save a fortune with musky stuff, and the walleye harnesses and jigs if you go through enough of them buy in bulk material as well, like for the jigs get a box of hooks at wholesale etc... and it'll be like 1c per jigg. gbfisher did you cut out your own lips to ? I use lexan.
  16. I think your numbers on the beer were a little low, you could improve on that next time. Nice pics and fish and gongrats on the fly cuda.
  17. That's one of the best sky pics I've seen amazing colors, the waters really lit up to.
  18. You'll get'em next time Cliff. I like landing with Salmon you can just snatch them no problem by the tail, the rainbows gill area is small so it's possible to hurt them if you grab them that way, I try to grab the tail and belly at the same time, you'll land more that way to if you don't have a net.
  19. Haha, a famous raccoon, gotta love it. Nice pics.
  20. I like to keep a blow-up doll just encase you need an extra floating device.
  21. I just tried to play it again to see how fast I could do it once you know everything, and this time it wouldn't give me the key from the wall either, so I think there's a glitch going on for some people ? It worked the first time I played and not the second.
  22. The crayon is under the couch.
