Nice ! Man I'm addicted to lures, they all look so good, never enough.

Yes never give up. Try fishing with a pal in his home waters. If your using the same bait/technique as him right beside him while he/she's catching and your not then you can blame the fishing gods but the right place/right time usually is the remedy, luck ? yes I believe in it a little, but dang it shouldn't hold you down for that long, god luck bud, you'll get the luck of the Irish back in no time even if your Italian.

Kids having fun = Great time for everyone. Nice fish guys.

Hey Lew, I'm a little late this year getting the gear organized, but I'm fairly close to Lakair, If your ever in the area on the way home or too and interested in going out on the bay, just give me a PM bud, could be interesting. Never know what you could find. Have fun fellas.

Do you have a big boat to go off shore ? or do you want to fish from shore/river ? give me a PM I grew up there, but I don't know what the bite is like now. Mostly Bows and Salmon in the area.

Who are most of your 'hardbait' lures made by?

Anything that's wood, hardly any plastic here, just has superior action as far as I have seen. -
The Notty has everything from sturgeon to musky (caught last year) and all trout/salmon, catfish it's not a pan fish or pike area though, there will be lot's of pay parking but expect the beach to be packed with tons of young partiers and sea-doo's everywhere. I grew up in Collingwood and the bay is pretty much the only thing to fish, all the small lakes and ponds are private property and hard to find but there is lot's of rivers for salmon/bows but not to much pan fish or pike that I can think of. There's a few stocked fish farms around the area you could take the youngin. Check behind McDonalds if you feel like catching a few Carp and the big grain towers at the docks in town, I've seen bass, pike but usually rainbows.

I had problems last year that I couldn't figure out, it was just running really weird, all it was was a loose screw on the positive wire inside the housing, tightened the screw problem fixed. Second problem I had it was doing almost the same thing just acting real weird only responding when it felt like it, so Brian (backwater tackle) mailed me a new circuit board, I changed it in 20 min and presto no more problems so far. Could just be a small problem you would never think of, mine was still under warranty, so I'm not sure if they are worth repairing price wise.

I haven't tried any of the advice from above yet (But I'm going to after fishing this weekend, with lots of big fish to report ) Stoty, it just has a button that says resize and you can type in whatever you want, but then it changes it to a psf file and I can't find anything on it that will change it back to jpg, I think they gave me the basic software, nothing special.

Have a good one Wayne, go slay'em.

We'll be Ok Team 10, just waiting for Thorpe to nail a 63" muskie. Well we'll settle for 59.5" thats just a little guy. Oh, we got a walleye upgade to 26" from 24" and Urbanangler got a 32" Carp too add 34" to our total, so were not in last suckers, lol.

I got the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8, so far so good. I like the huge zoom, maybe I'll be able to get the swimming black bears ect... this year, I was too far away before with my old camera.

Thanks guys fast replies like usual I'll mess around and try those ideas. I don't have photoshop but yes I should get it looks like great software. I just used the software that came with the camera, "PhotoImpression" but it's my first day looking that over too. Hen I didn't get the pm last night but just got the new one. Stoty you might be getting a few PM's, lol, I think I'll get the hang of it.

So everything was fine with my old simple camera I had to change nothing to put photos on the net but I just got a new one and It is much better quality so I found out I have to resize the pictures to post them. It took a couple minutes and I figured out how to resize a photo but now it automatically goes from a jpg file to a psf file when I resize it and I can't post a pfs file . So my question is how do I get it back to a jpg from a psf after I re-size it ? Thanks.

Yep, lot's of good ones, I only get to see the ugly GB ones that are almost white or dark green but they always got big red eyes. never see any spotted ones on the bay.

Amazing report T.J., looks like a spot I would like to fish one day and the lodge looks great too.
-
A nice brute, I always like seeing St Clair muskies they have origional markings. I could have told you were they were from without knowing, lol.
-
Nice stuff Moose, great report. I remember last year my bother in law caught a freshly spawned 31" eye, coulda sworn it was a pike, lol.
-
Nice try boys, gotta hate it when they miss the lure, but that's the game. Man did those temps ever drop quick, went from 30 to 5 in a few hours here, now that's what they call a cold front. How's Lew's little fishing trip going ? waiting for his report.

You are a Crispy Cream eating Bafoon.

You want some of mine ? Rick, toss him a couple hundy of mine, but not all of them, lol. I feel like a geek, I added these up in a year give or take, almost ashamed it's so high. But I didn't think once about how high it was (well maybe once), I put thought into my responses (well most of them.) There were a lot of words typing some of those reports and responses for a guy that uses 2 fingers s. Over those numbers though you start getting lot's of PM's and meeting people etc... it's just like anything else in life, you have to start somewhere and get to know the people (it truly is a Community), but an intelligent response is a intelligent response regardless.

Sorta the same thing for football, Canadians like the CFL but I'd rather see a NFL team in Toronto, all the CFL players are Americans anyway, that didn't make the NFL, so is it really Canadian ? same for this case, there's more Canadians on the Ducks so it still shows we have the best players in the league and to cheer them on is patriotic.

I know the feeling, I usually have a freshly shaven head and got blisters on it last year it was so bad, so I always wear sunscreen now. I started with 30spf this year and gradually got a tan, and have since moved to 15spf and in a couple more weeks I'll go to a 10spf average I would say. It would depend on the day as well I guess, if you feel something starting to burn or get red, slap that 30spf on and you'll be good to go. I got sun stoke my first time to Florida fresh off the plane it was so damn hot and the second time I went, I hit the tanning salon 3-4 times before ( metrosexuall style I know ) anyway it really worked great to get a good base before the summer or a trip in the winter. As far as product names, there are too many to choose from, it's a personal choice, just go by the SPF as a basic rule.

great report, beauty fish, hard to beat a trip like that.

Wow, what the heck is everyone else using on there big boats ? I though 60" was long enough for most boats, she must sit pretty high. great job though but I don't think a dummy could do that . Ya the warranty void sucks, I had to take mine back to Brian once already (same motor), the circuit board went crazy and had to put a new one in, but he said not to mess with it cause of the void, it works like new again but I'm glad I had the warranty. But what can you do, they didn't have what you needed. The ram mount will work good, and the shaft doesn't bend to much in the water cause the springs in the housing let it rock back and forth, so you'll be ok, just don't hit to many rocks.
