Show us a pic of your fishing boat
Crimsongulf replied to Old Ironmaker's topic in General Discussion
I put up a pic of the flats boat so since we are dodging tornadoes today, I found a decent pic of the old 21 ft Proline near shore boat. Re-powered it in 2015 and freshened it up with some paint and fiberglass work. She is a 1989 model and still solid. I have always wondered why there aren't more center consoles around the Great Lakes. -

Well, I got tested for Kung Flu. Great news, it came back negative.

I said previously, that I bought more Boeing knowing they had temporarily suspended dividends, but at 50 cents on the dollar compared to late Feb, I think I will be fine with it.

As a long term investor, I tend to mimic what the pros do, mainly Warren Buffet and Carl Icahn. I went ahead and bought more Boeing. They are basically 50 cents on the dollar since Feb.

Remember there are dozens of battery brands but only about 6 actual manufacturers.

I have had no luck with Optima batteries. your mileage may vary.

Got this one from my Canadian friend also.

Even though I am way down south, when I went out the other day, the boat is on a lift in the backyard, I was out about 4 hours and was never closer than 500 yards to another boat. When we get to the Napanee cottage in June it will basically work the same way.

Good on your wife. I am in a Mardi Gras krewe and for several years on Wednesdays we would use one of our buses to go to a local assisted living home and take folks grocery shopping. Given the current situation, the home gets a list from them and we go shopping for them. Publix lets us go in the senior hour 1 hour before official opening. Tomorrow is my turn in the rotation, so gotta roll out of bed in the am.

Since I am hanging out at the house more now, I keep up with the Port of Mobile here.\ http://www2.asdd.com/dkvs/php/harborreport.php

Yeah he is fine. He is a retired full bird colonel from the air force.

From our dock, we can see the Mobile Bay ship channel. A couple of years ago, TW bought me a telescope, so I keep up with comings and goings. Had one come in this afternoon from Paraguay. Flagged Bahamas. We have a friend that is a European pilot for Fed Ex, he is still normal for now.

That's how I do a pork butt for pulled pork. Bacon makes vodka better. -

It took me about three tries to get that backbone out the right way. finally figured out to get a damned good pair of shears. -
It's the trendy thing to do when no one is actually to blame.

We are just doing old school burgers tonight. Tomorrow is spatchcock chicken day. -
A rutabaga and a turnip are two totally different veggies. My mother cooked rutabagas when I was growing up and the house stunk for days.
