In reality, we will probably be whining about the high price of oil in 18 months.
-
I saw where Canada basically shut down all production. More jobs gone, at least for now. The oil situation had to come. Very high production and a dramatic decrease in demand. Just proves that supply and demand still rules all markets.

As someone else said, ck the screens for blockage and make sure there are no leaks at the supply line. Mine did the same last year and it was as simple as the washer at the inlet connector. I saw a very small dribble at the inlet and didn't think that it mattered. It mattered.

Meanwhile in Michigan.

I quit smoking by vaping. I started out using 18 mg nicotine tapered down to 3 mg, then finally 0 mg and then I was through with them. I will still occasionally have a Montecristo #3. Maybe 3-4 times per year.

They don't get much fresher.

My bad. You are correct.

This isn't mine, but I am trying to help a neighbor straighten out this mess. -
I should be an individual decision.

Technically, I am high risk, I have no underlying health issues other than 65 birthdays. To start opening things back up it is going to take a huge amount of common sense, both by customers and service providers. We can't stay closed forever. Sooner or later there will be no money for anything including health concerns.

Well, it looks like my state is going to partially open back up next week. We are definitely not a hot spot. the confirmed cases are .0009% of the population with a fatality rate of .03%. Of the fatalities, 72% were over 65 and 87% falling into some form of high risk group. I am glad. I need a haircut like a fat baby needs a Mama.

I don't take it as a shot at all. I think someone already said that very little of what any other country does has any significant impact on a US citizen. On the other hand what the US does can immediately impact other countries. When we talk to Canadian family and friends they are far more concerned with what we are doing than what is going on in Canada and probably 30-40% of the time their facts about the US are wrong or only partially correct. I miss the days of when we actually got news, not some talking heads opinion of what the news is. I sure miss Walter Cronkite.

Show us a pic of your fishing boat

That's a fine, professional looking conversion. You mentioned Key West in another post. they are very popular along the Gulf and have a very good reputation. They are built in SC and you can see that Carolina flare in the bow design. -

Glad you gave me that definition. I thought you meant to say honked. so I was trying to figure out how you honked a Ford 8N. J/K -

We are fine, they were tornadoes not Hurricanes. We are about to enter into Hurricane season though. NOAA says it is going to be a strong season, but of course NOAA hasn't been right in 20 years. -

There will never be any demand as long as there is no income. Canada and the US can quarantine themselves into a 3rd world country. -

Ordered jack plate ram seals for the flats boat. Sprung a leak. -
Wuhan Honda back to production
Crimsongulf replied to misfish's topic in Non-Outdoors Open Discussion
Of course there is no demand for new cars now because to many people have little or no income. When you shutter 80% of an economy the demand for most everything goes down. Well except toilet paper. -
Wuhan Honda back to production

The other thing to remember is that governments from local on up are getting very few tax dollars coming in. Sooner or later money will dry up if we don't get back to business. -

Wuhan Honda back to production

We have a Honda plant in Alabama, they make Pilots and Odysseys. Be damned glad when they are back rolling. We also have a Mercedes, Hyundai, Toyota and a Mazda plant. All are shut down. When they are shut down, all of there suppliers are shut down. At some point, things have to get back in production. We can't wait until there is zero chance of another case. If we do the economy of the states and Canada will take years to recover. Sometimes you have to get realistic.
