  1. I will admit that being a son of a police officer this did disturb me for a lot of the day. On the list of the past fallen officers was my dad's partner and this is why it bothered me even more so. Right now I'm at a loss for words as to what I want to say.... But I will say this. Those kids (and yes that IS what they are) are screwed for as long as they live. A COP will always look after another COP and he will not die in vein (SP?) for doing his/her job. I hope that the driver is not aloud to drive ever just for being such a fool. I wish all the COP's out there a safe day every day they go to work as a son of one. Yes, I have many a friend in Durham and York that wear a badge and I hope to never hear of this to one of them or a friend. Things like this hit more people then just the so called few involved so to the fallen officer Constable Garrett Styles I say thank you. Geoff
  2. Dell is still good as long as you get a business class unit, other then that get and HP G series. That is what I have not and I'm happy with it.
  3. Dell or HP ONLY are the way to go. Sorry but as an EX Dell guy they still make a great product so I'm not preaching. I find the new AMD chips don't run that hot and cost less and my last purchase was an HP notebook with and AMD chip and it's great.

  8. it sounds to me like you have your heart set on the KVD and you are just looking for someone here to say they "love it" and to "go get one!". So....I have never touched one but I'm sure if KVD has his name tied to a product he wouldn't want it to be known as a bad product. That said.... GO get one!
  9. go check your local Lowes and pick up a set of Knipix cutters. they can cut through a 2.5" nail like butter.
  10. welcome to the site Marko. where are you from?
  11. what about the doughnut?
  12. if the spool is a 'braid spool' then it may have rubber bushings (or what ever they are called) on it to stop the old slippage problem. that is where the mono backing came into play before; to stop the slipping. are you closing the bail with the crank or by hand? how tight did you put the line on the spool as well? to tight and it won't cast, to loose and you get loop over... see where I'm going here? braid is best when put on with the same tension as a fish (5lb SMB?) would give you to prevent dig in.

as a dog owner and lover (easy now folks, not in that way) I'll be keeping mine at home then if I can ever make one of these. I'm rather to read/see there was intent to harm the dogs. that's just not cool in any way shape or form.
