The Port Perry store was rude about it when I pulled out the print out on Sunday. So I didn't get one, lol. I don't need one but sure as hell can make use of one rather than the $30 some odd $$ GC I have for that damn store. Oh well. When I find a fishing item marked wrong I will then use the card but till then I'll keep my funds with me.

We had a boat load off fun so thanks again 'E'! and out of the 7 keepers that we decided were the best of the bunch to keep in the 35-50cm slot they were all nice and healthy. Others caught in the slot but still sent back. and there were a bunch of others caught too. the bass had it easy last weekend. lol

Well, my 2 cents don't count for squat around here BUT Shimano sure did me right in the past few weeks. I lost the top 1/2 section of a rod while bushwhacking fishing. It was 100% my fault as it fell out of the bag it was in. I left a message asking what the cost was to get a new top 1/2 for it. I found out after 4 days (of the bottom section getting to them in Peterborough for match up the harware) that I was going to get a whole rod sent to me on "good faith" to why the top was missing. This rod value was not a $200 one but they only made this one for a year AND only had a short warranty. So for ME I AM and WILL BE a Shimano customer for a very long time to come. PS, this was and IS the BEST customer service from ANY company in a long time that I have had. So Shimano will still get my support when I need more gear hands down. Ardent and others now have no chance with me due to the problems I have had this year alone with them...

I'm getting the run around from Cogeco from crap lines, rates and customer service. I pay over $100 with those blood suckers for the most basic tv and high speed internet yet its FAR from high speed. As for FIBER products, Bell is the only one with FIBE and the others rent off Bell. Then there is Rogers with the new hybrid fiber, LOL!!! try and find one place they can prove have it is a joke. Not even in the downtown TO core beside the Rogers building it's not going to happen. Seeing as I need to pay attention to what's out there for my self, watch how some will screw you. Cogeco has me by the ----- for $225 to walk away from them just on the tv because they claim it was a 1-year term I agreed to. I firmly said more than 5 times on the call "I will not agree to a contract where I am stuck with you!" to get screwed anyway. Funny how the recorded call is nowhere to be found when I have asked for it 4 times now... I will be changing my tv to Bell based on the 1080p picture with the channels I want for less or the same price than the ---- I have now.

Another idea here folks. Who's to say it wasn't youth playing with a spear and that someone in the group is still learning how to cut a fish? Too many variables to point fingers. It IS a shame is what it is to me.

My honest plan? Get to a boat with a rod rigged with a jig and 4 or 5" grub. I have a plan B, C and D but plan A is how I will start provided I can get out between work and Mothers Day.

Some dollarama's last year had some good stock on Northland items. If ever in a store I too look for anything I can find for fishing purposes.

I'm going with Highdrifter on this one. I use the MS and Security Essentials too with no problems. However, some ISP's give a software to use too at no cost. Bell has what was MacAfee and now branded as Intel Security. It's good too as my office uses it with no problems.

I duno where 10 to 20% of my stuff is anymore. I guess the EX tossed it out... I would post pic's but it's all a mess still of the stuff I do have... however! I found a new supplier to top me up when needed!
