  1. May go tomorrow for my last trip. Been out 5 days since Nov5th and it's been great. Started a report but stuck at work now. Will pop up something early week I think. Fish are there, have been there, and are biting. This week should be great too.
  2. Used to tie flies at work when it was slow up north. Have thousands now that rarely see daylight. Those steelie jigs though... have never done them with those exact hook/bead heads. They look mint... nice job.
  3. Very solid bows Mike. Wouldn't expect anything less from ya. Ti's your season!!!
  4. Foam about every second to third tank here. And stabalizer for exactly what you said above. Bravo started first pull and ran at idle for 15 minutes no issue last week. That's stablized and ready for winter!!!
  5. Just a rockin' pictorial of the year FF. The bulls and cutties are such a rare treat to see posted here. You've had a great year all around too.
  6. TeeeJ! Never used a tip-up. Tip-down yes. Actually will always prefer to place/balance a rod on a gad. Works as well and no handlining involved.
  7. In a number of past trips, Grant traveled alongside me Chris. You'll find him in both Kesagami and Pym reports, as well as many days spent over recent years on the ice and in my boats. Good memories.
  8. Understandable man! There's never going to be enough time in a lifetime to visit everywhere you want to go and see, but it can be exciting to try... The toss up for me often ends up being, do I visit somewhere new or go back to somewhere I know I already love. Fishing on Kesagami; like a few other places found, is hard to step away from when it comes calling. The place has never let me down. And along with friends and family who feel the same way, it's been a no-brainer to go back there for summer and winter trips. Where are a couple places you'd like to go next???
  9. Piece of heaven up there! Thanks for the visit. Probably rode the train past Ron's house 100 times. Everytime thinking... I'd like to go. Heard he is/was quite the nutbar though and didn't bother. Funny thing is Chris, the guy who likely took you across on the ferry, is now the owner of that camp. A great guy. You should go back.
  10. Droooooooooooooooool.... pie!!!!!!
  11. Watched a little and got quite the kick out of it! The muskie vid, the girl catching the beat up char through the ice and the Gotye bit. Yeah... their nuts... BUT... aren't we all really..?
  12. I so thoroughly enjoyed that... Wow!!! I was along side ya for the trip, or at least wanting to be. Truly shows the passion you and your friends have for steelheading and adventure. Well done doods!! Thanks for this report.
  13. Good tunes, great pics, better memories! "It's coming, get it ready" says the wee lad reelin' in the big fish... like a Pro!
  14. Solid days effort beating up on the mucky trench muskies! Nice fish.
  15. Couple goodies Chris! Job well done!
  16. Great news for you Richard. Cancer is a rough road no matter what the outcome, but it sounds like your personal journey is taking you home to a good place.
  17. Will give'r a go right now brutha Dan!!!
  18. As far as Bob's concerned I'll agree with Slop. But yeah, Lew certainly makes a good point as well.
  19. Didn't need to go any further than that. Strong needlenose pliers and grip'er good!
  20. Total crap Brian! Wished you had of got your hands on him just after releasing the fish.
  21. Solid bronze Chris!!! Good fishin'.
  22. Nice! But it only counts as 1 fish caught. lol.
  23. No substantial evidence of anything in that other than the guy's wheel came off.
  24. What a day for ya NipF!!! Great ski. Congrats.
  25. Great snowy hell mate!!! I remember some morning scenes kinda like that..... Brrrr. But, at least you're not going soft and just staying home. Fall walleye can be tricky at times, ya done good Simon!
