A weird and disturbing thread Joey. The real story would be interesting to know. -
One big sexy momma right there. Lucky dood!

I know a lot of you don't like a stringer,BUT!
Moosebunk replied to davey buoy's topic in General Discussion
Stringers Rock. Got a new one and just put in the old tackle bag I don't use anymore except on fly-ins. Looking forward to fillin' it next week... just not with bass. Good fishing. -
Thanks to all involved, great cause and event run by caring people. Hats off. And also thanks Frank, incredible pics and a joy to view. Well done everyone.

lmao! You're a nutbud. lol. -
Wow Frank.. That was an awefully satisfying taste of Windermere, your vacation and some great pics of eyes and smallies too. The accoms look awesome and if ever going I think you'll have to come along to cook all the meals. Great stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed that read. And what you said below... one of, if not the best reason to take a good bit of time to sit back and relive those moments, while writing a report.

How the hiznell did I miss this??? A little outta the box this "float fishing cats in July" is. Gotta say though, who wouldn't be all over catching fish like that, that way. Cool report Aaron. Thanks for posting.

the lund is getting closer to being done (nf)
Moosebunk replied to Terry's topic in General Discussion
I want this set-up Terry. That bracket to fit the Lund track is mint. -
Got hauled into court in 1990 and fined $10 for skateboarding. New by-law that day, the coppers got me first that morning infront of the arcade. All the old lady's ankles were safe in the safe zone from then on out. lol. Bylaws... these above one's are nuts... or maybe just really old.

Solid southern pike Rich. For sure.
-
Lake Erie is glass and Doug's kickin' aaaaaass. Nice eyes.

You said besides a fly... and that their lost it. It is sooo amazing how sunning pike will ignore EVERYTHING, but if you have a rabbit-strip fly that you can leave sit in front of it's face, it will hit it twice. lol.

Gord it is a solid idea if looking to easily put everyone on the same page with info gathered. Personally though. in an email or letter you could simplify but just stating... Boois.... blah, blah, blah, blah... Kesagami.... blah, blah, Quetico... blah, blah, blah. Your Kesagami info is a little off Gord. Drive 9 hours to Cochrane, fly... maybe find other options other than the lodge and prices may vary. but that said... I think this spreadsheet is simply an idea you're looking for input on right? I don't know about some of the other places mentioned, but I'd have a hard time believing ya Mike that the experience isn't "even close" to the other places. Although, remoteness and being away from others on less pressured waters does come into play if choosing the lodge and their open months, I guess.

Thanks again guys. Gimme a buzz soon Tyler. Appreciated Alan. For Nipigon and specks nothing tops your online site. Missing the girls right now as they're away at camp, but keeping busy at work (17 hour shift yesterday).. blahh), a long "Honey Do" list at home and preparations for the next trip. No, not Nipigon... but that will almost immdediately follow and just working out details last week. So if we can share the boat great, but if we can't share the boat lets at least share a scotch. Hopefully your blackflies are long gone soon. Absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. lol.

He'll be kickin' himself for not getting a kicker with this boat I think. Available or not. I'll pass this on to him guys, thanks. Good info.

For many folks, weighing fish was never even been a thing of their present. lol. That's total choice though eh? It used to be more of a pet peeve what Rich is saying, until realizing that in the game of angling, egos trump truth 9 times out of 10 with fishermen, and if you're in the minority, then you're actually the oddball. lol.

Sunshine Lake Fly in Trip, great times and fishing.
Moosebunk replied to fishnsled's topic in General Discussion
True fisherman will turn that 326 into a 652 by 2014 Will. Sure it wasn't 328 when the counter actually slipped off your belt buckle, fell in the muck at the bottom of the boat, and when rubbing it clean you actually set it back a couple fish??? Huh??? Remember that part? Just messing around bud. Glad to hear you had a fantastic trip with Hearst and really pounded yourselves a couple tonnes of fun out there. -
Summer 2007. On my way home from work in Moosonee I stop to shoot the shiznit with some workers from the hospital in Moose Factory while they're out on smoke break. Fella asks me how the fishing has been. Told him I had been in Kesagami and caught a near 40 inch pike but wished I'd had found that 50. Guy of course says, "nice fish" BUT, one time when I was at Kesagami, while fishing off the dock at the lodge I caught a 72 incher that took about an hour to reel in. It was so big we needed two guys to roll it up onto the dock where I then shot it dead in the head. I replied, "Ohhhh, so you caught a fish probably two to three times heavier than the world record and there at the Lodge in front of a group of paying customers from all over the place, quickly materialized a gun and put a hole through the fish and probably the Lodge's floating dock. You're an idiot and a liar who must actually think I'm an idiot. Next time don't ask me how the fishing has been if you're just looking for an opportunity to one-up me with some complete bullstick story dood." Nah, didn't actually say that... probably said, "nice fish." lol.

Thanks for posting this article Spiel. Nice to see the good guys win one now and again... for round one couldn't have been won by a better fella. Great fishing Tony.

Boy ohh boy that boy is gonna have himself one great lifelong memory of that first ski of his. Great fishing......... Hmmmm, Lower Buckhorn eh??? Thanks for reporting.

Enjoyed that Adam. Great write up, the camp appears to be well maintained, the area quite scenic and yes, those few walleye do look like your better than average fish. Great show dood!
