  1. Terry caught a fish....???? lol. I like the skidoo/hut set-up.
  2. Fantastic Jacques and co. Congrats on the beauty whites and all other fish.
  3. Raf... I agree, cardio sucks..... but sadly, it's so necessary. You'd have to be a hizell of a circuit trainer with weights to get the same heart pump. I've enjoyed lifting weights since college... (more then, not really as much now) but twice a week or so I'll go the hospital gym and use the row machine... This thing is great, been using it a couple months now... dropped a quick 6 (probably water) but, IPOD on and the TV set to sports or Poker, 45 minutes and the trip flies by. Agreed on the breads and spuds too. Cut'em out IF you can, along with the cheesecake and jelly bellies.
  4. Lots of those fish in the Abitibi and tributary river systems of the Northeast.
  5. Remind me Louis and I'll forward you some messages from my aunt. She was there last year with her kids and she could now write a book with all the research she did. I have info saved in my emails as... our family is headed there in April during "Goose Break" from school.
  6. Good haul!!!
  7. A couple more beauties man!!! You got this down to a science now.
  8. Best boots ever had were my Mukluks. White woman came to Rez 5 moons ago. Made trade. Boots for 1 hour booty. Now feet cold and wife locked me out of teepee... Good trade then, no good now. Lost two toe already.
  9. A happy Elton John tune comes into my head..... B-B-B-Bennie and Eyes...... What a fishery out there man. More good fish from ya.
  10. My condolences Lew. Sorry for your loss.
  11. That kind of fishing seems such a long way off. Great efforts SNAG, some quality fun and fish.
  12. Sink, your reports are always worth a stop. Thanks for another one. Good fishing dood.
  13. $45 and I really only got to enjoy 2 fights... both cut short for different reasons. I did enjoy those two short fights very much though. GSP is fighting so great right now but, he couldn't handle Silva and I'm not sure I'd like to see that fight.
  14. Young people reading this thread who are evaluating their own possibilities and considering investments should know that, the best investment one can make with any excess money is an investment in themself, not in any bank or institution, but in their education and career. Because the only thing that makes financial crisis easier to handle, is having excess finances to handle any crisis.
  15. Watched that this morning too. Gord sure has a knack for stretching his fish. Don't much care whether it's legal or not... the rig suspends bait horizontal for a better presentation but... twice a hook got caught on the bottom of the hole and Bob had to dislodge it with his scoop, and twice did a fish come up with that second treble burried in the back of it's head. Now I don't imagine these guys are going barbless, and that second treble could just as easily be stuck in an eye next time. Not sure I like those rigs... would have to try the old way vs that style in waters with some depth. That's where the horizontal presentation likely outshines a slightly more vertically dead quickstriked rig.
  16. Yeah.... I'll be visiting one day soon Ben. Nice job again my friend.
  17. That's a fantastic fish and angler right there. Enjoyed the link, thanks.
  18. I like that. Good li'l laker report right thar. Them's fish are gluttons.
  19. Whether you like Obama or not, think he'll do a good job or not, care whether he's 50% purple, green or turquoise... or not... ... 18+ minutes of his speech just made an unforgettable moment in history in front of the world. I don't usually care... but sitting at home today I was certainly glad I somehow conveniently got out of bed at just the right time, then flipped the channel from "Off The Record" to live coverage of a speech that is totally forever "On The Record." What an amazing showing of people in Washington today. That country should feel proud to have a leader address them with such very uplifting and hopeful words. It's absolutely perfect that in their time of economic uncertainty and divided feelings towards war, that an entire population is reminded that they are still strong and free American's who through unity and perserverance will remain just that. There was nothing on the planet that could have made better TV during the noon hour. Cynics and hopeless critics need not apply to CNN or any other media... The U.S. needs a boost, and today schools, businesses and people on the streets took time to embrace new hope. Well worth the price of admission in dollars, cause if it cost a buck for each person watching in the U.S. it sure as hizeck tasted better than a tripple mocha latte from Starbucks at quadruple the daily rate.
  20. Good fishing Steve.
  21. Cool Wayne. Surely there are days I wish I invested in a portable too. Could be out there now. Certainly are the only way to beat some of the weather we've had. Looks like ya did alright on a tougher bite day.
