They will charge you and let the judge sort it out hoping you wont show up. The guys were sighting in the rifles in a gravel pit a couple days before the moose season opened and were charged for hunting out of season. You think they won't charge you if you have an out of season fish.

When the salmon fishing was hot and everybody started getting into it, almost every hot Sunday somebody would blow up a boat and the news would work its way down the lake on the radio.

Chased a salmon Dad had on, another boat didn't notice what we were doing and circled us cutting it off. Dad was not a happy camper. 1,000 yds on one of those old 782 mooching reals works for me but when you see your fish jump on the horizon your in for a lot of 1/1 cranking and some sore arms.

To get those nice arcs you might have to go a little faster in deeper water. I used to tip the transducer back as far as I could and track the cannon balls and sometimes a laker would follow them for a ways and show as a line.

Buddy pulls up to a road block on the 401 in the middle of the night and asks the cop if somebody robbed a bank.... Cop says "no we're waiting for you" He was cruising at around 150mph in a modified duster, cop said they had 3 cars chasing him, buddy didn't see any of them. Right now is the time to buy if your looking for an off lease truck, lots of them going through the auction and some big dealers are dumping their inventory at a loss. 4x4 are cheaper than 2 wheel drive.

I was under one of those the other day at my buds garage, it was in for a$500 alternator. It was an impressive truck. I hope your quad pistons don't seize like my fords dual piston calibers do, I came home with em just a smoken a couple days ago and if it was mine I would rust check it as Toyota has a buy back on some of their small trucks where the undercoating trapped water and rusted out the frame. I think the problem with cars these days is they are over engineered and built out of junk. More transmissions have been changed due to faulty sensors than we would like to guess.

Ahh......Anybody think to call the cops, thats why we have them? If it was intentional he will do it again and the sooner you get the cops involved the better.

Keep in mind that a canoe is the #1 death rate when it comes to boats, some people take to them well and others can't get 10' off shore without tipping. They take some skill and are not for everybody.

No such thing as boat registration #'s but boat license #'s should be close to the bow on both sides and 3" high.

What exactly did the cop ask for? A boats license goes with the #'s on the bow and is required for 10 hp or more and must be with the boat A boats registration is the name and home port that you see on larger boats and can be expensive you probably don't have one. I have never seen or heard of a boats ownership. If the cop asked for registration or ownership and charged you for not producing a license you might have an out if he didn't ask for the license. As for the flashlight ....DUH..

One of the pwc riders on the local lake here made a point of showing off his new flashlight as they launched making the point that he was finally legal. after riding a while they were checked by the cops and the light had bounced around in the pwc turned itself on and run the battery down resulting in ..a fine.

Couldn't find the one I wanted so I got a 68 Torino body at the wreckers and put a blueprinted 390 in it and drove it for a few months. Found the one I wanted 69 ford Cobra, put the 390 in it till I could find and build up a 428. It needs an interior now but with the new chirp your tires and we take your car law I'm in no hurry to put it back on the road.

Buddy did his bike test, first time failed because he wasn't turning his head to look left and right enough, second time they told him they can't tell if he turns his head or not because of the black helmet. Nobody passes on the first try.

When I do something illegal like lasso deer on LO I like to keep it out of the paper and I sure don't call the cops for help. When a deer goes for a swim it doesn't make it open season on them, I'm sure there has been a discussion at MNR about laying charges. I'll give the guys some credit, they were there and I wasn't but any deer is going to look distressed and confused when you pull up to it in a boat. When I found one 3 or 4 miles out in LO , first thought was to call in a notice to other boaters to watch out for it but on second thought I didn't want anybody coming to rescue it, so we left her to enjoy her swim.

Keep your eye out for the documentary "who killed the electric car". When California legislated 0 emission cars the manufacturers made some very drivable electric cars and leased them, then fought the legislation till they killed it and rounded up the electric cars and crushed them. I would rather see them build a better car than put a car on the road that doesn't rate just because the Americans do, then the Americans get a better car too.

Someone digs a channel into the lake doesn't make it private, cable should be removed for safety as its a hazard to navigation.
