Nice fish none-the-less. I keep threatening to drop my wife's digi Camera in the water ... only to force us to get a better one. The time spent fishing with your Dad is the best of all .... keep doing it.

I'm sure we've all had days like that bud .... I know I have. Keep your head up, take another good hard laugh at it. Tomorrow is another day. As for the bugs ... My mindset is, if it files ... it BITES !!

I have a couple magnum dawgs and I troll with them. I can't imagine casting those things, but maybe some do. I've tried trolling and just wind drifting with these things and have nothing to show for it. I've heard some folks having good success with them, so maybe my day will come. I have also picked up some of the shallow dawgs, but won't get an opportunity to give them a try until this September.

Not Bad ... Not bad at all. Some very nice bass there for the first time. Uh .... Sam ...... I don't see any pics with you holding some fish.

That's really great Mo. Nice to see the young ones catching fish with their own gear. Future OFC'rs I imagine. Bet the had a great time and will want to do it again real soon.

Nice report BigCreekDad ...glad you finally got into some fish. Maybe we'll run into each other on the water in late September, I'm staying at Wolseley Lodge from 9/22 to 9/29. Cabin number 1 ... the one right next to the bridge that leads over to Totem Point. I'll have the Tracker Targa V17 WT - including the better half and two dogs. Hard to miss this circus coming through. Hoping to catch me a lunge to or two.

She may be your smallest, but she's still one nice looking fish. I'm anxiously awaiting my next one.

Cool pics. I can really get into the medievel buildings. Had a grea time walking through old town Cantebury about 10 years ago and some old towns in Switerland a number of years back. Would love to do it again someday.

That's a great story and sounds like a happy ending. Sure was great to read that you and your wife sat down and worked through this together. It's good to hear that you are happy in what you'll be doing and that's the most important part. I wish you all the best my friend. (My lawnmower is acting up .... can I drop it off sometime ).

Very nice DH. This was my first year to Lakair myself - also with the OFC group and definitely looking forward to next year. You had much better luck than I did, so congrats to your group. Oh yeah ... another Pennsylvanian. Where abouts are you from ? My town is about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh, about 13 miles south of Altoona and maybe an hour south of State College. Great to see another Pennsylvanian on the board and fishing similar waters in Ontario that I do. Welcome to the board.

7 SM in 2 hours ....so much better than my action on the Rideau last week. Maybe I should have preceded my time on the water with a business meeting ... Nah. I had picked up some tubes to use while I was up there .... but some idiot (nameless) forgot to pull them out and give 'em a shot. Nice report Justin. Thanks for putting it up.

What a great way to spend a week. Looks like the kids reall had a good time.
