Good to see they were caught and at least had to pay some consequences, albeit a small one. It's a shame this is only one small drop in a very large bucket.

I am hoping, while at Lakair, I have the opportunity to go out with someone who can learn me to fish for Walleye ... which I have never done before. I picked up a variety of Rapalas in different colors and sizes. Also picked up a bunch of jigs and some Berkeley powerbaits (3" long). What about leaders ? When fishing for Walleye, should I use a leader. If so, what would you recommend for length ? The rods I plan on using are presently spooled with 12# Stren super braid.

Looks like ya had a great variety to keep things interesting for the day. Great report. Hey GCD, in those last couple pics, the PFD you're wearing, which one is that ? It looks very similar to the Bass Pro XPS (automatic) TYPE II that just arrived at my door a couple days age. If so, whatta think of them ? 14 more sleeps for me too .... arriving Sunday afternoon on the 17th.

PFD's for everyone .... better still if they are actually worn. For the boat's license, although the registration numbers and such are on the boat itself, I also have a photocopy of the registration and insurance policy in the boat. Not sure if these are the regs in Canada, but on my size boat, I think it is required here in PA.
