The guys are looking really good here in the 2nd period. Really moving and controlling the puck.
-
Welcome Amie. Sounds like you'll fit in here just great.
-
Quite the contrast in the North and South pics Joe. Glad ya had a great time and thanks for sharing with us.

Interesting. I too ran across this web site a few days ago. I thought - man does the format look awfully familiar. I'll be sure to check it out. TJ - You gonna tie all this together from a central point some day.

Watch out for those late-night taxi cab confessions.

This may not be a good time to argue. Just say YES DEAR ... and go to the fishing show. (You'll find out soon enough ) -
24" snow set for the South (Virginia) Fri and Sat
Rich Clemens replied to aplumma's topic in General Discussion
Stick around - we have another one coming in latert today and into tomorrow. Winter Storm Warnings are already posted for my area. Forecast we heard this morning was for up to another foot of snow. Of course, that's what they were predicting for the week-end storm, and we doubled that one. Fire up the tractor again Art. -

Yeah - we need it alright. Another one is coming our way tomorrow and into Wednesday from what I hear. We're running out of places to put it. And, hats off to our borough employees and their plowing abilitities. The street in front of my house is now only one lane and there is a good 8+ feet of snow from the curb out to where they actually plowed. Couple that with several feet unplowed on the other side. Sue glad we have a helpful neighbor with the equipment to finish up the boro's job in front of my house. -

We ended up with about 2 feet of that white stuff. Thank goodness for kind neighbors with snow blowers or I'd still be out there. Went ahead and removed the snow from our 2-car garage, as I'm assuming there was a tremendous amount of weight up there. Now - If I can even move tomorrow, it will be a wonder. My mother also has very accommodating neighbors, or I'd be up there trying to get her dug out. OK - Enough of winter already. South of us, had even more. Maybe Art will pop in and tell us how much he got down there. -
I was thinking the very same thing when I read the punchline.

'Cause TJ said so - Hi, New to the Board!

That's OK Mike ... you'll learn just like the rest of us. Welcome to the board. -

They're calling for about a foot where I live. The farther south, the more of a dumping. That's awfully nice of you Art to do all the plowing while Joe and the family are gone. -
You're Right Ab. You don't got barrelling along unless you know the water. Once you get away from camp, landmarks can be few and far between. Unless, as I said, you really know the water. I'm glad I now have a GPS in my boat, as I can mark the hazards - that I know about.
-
I only fish - never a hunter. Nobody in my family was a hunter while I was growing up - so I never got interested in it.

Hey .... We're Winning. Cast Right / Crank Left.

I've boat past Bryer's on my way out of Wolseley Lodge. At least from what we can see from the water, Abraxus is right - really nice looking cabins along the water. And, if I recall correctly, ya have a bit of space between them. it can be a bit noisy with the traffic if you're in one of Wolseley's cabins along the road - there is a public launch right there at the camp.

I had posted a bit of information on the few Lodges we have stayed at over the years. If you narrow down your choices to one of these, and want a little more info, drop me a PM. I don't fish for Walleye, so I can't you out with that kind of fishing. I do know that Walleye are caught from all these areas. French River Post

My story is in a fishing calendar - woohoo!
Rich Clemens replied to Joey's topic in General Discussion
Congrats Joey. Pick up a bunch and autograph them for us. -
I picked up a paper route and made about $14.00 / $15.00 every two weeks. I did that for quite a few years in Junior High and right up until I graduated High School. Some days, so local business would have advertisements for in the papers, for which we were paid a penny a piece.

One wrong cast with that one and someone's gonna be singing .... Moooooon River. (But seriously, I'm anxious to see the finishing product).

Hey TJ. Is something up with the profile editing ? I used the BROWSE function to set an avatar from a picture on my hard-drive. Once I hit SAVE, all I got back was a blank screen. A few other updates I did to my profile seemed to work fine.
-
That's a great addition to the site TJ. Pretty dang easy to upload the pics too.
-
You better check your cabin out very carefully Lew - hard to tell what those guys will leave behind.
-
Has anyone actually confirmed when the dates are ? It was moved to the 4th Saturday last year and there was talk going around about putting it back to the 3rd Saturday at last year's GTG. Based on that going around, Patsy and I are already booked for the 3rd Saturday - arriving Thursday the 17th and checking out Saturday the 26th. Cabin 5 again. Oh yes - we're bringing the 4 legged girls again.

Pete. My thoughts would be after you've already uploaded the pics to photbucket, or whatever host you are using. As you're creating your new post in here, you have to click on the little picture ICON to enter the URL of the image. Once you say OK to the promt to include the image into your post, you should see your URL between two img tags. This is where your picture would be. Something like this. [imx]http://THe'>http://The URL to your image is here[/imx] After the closing /img tag of the image, you should be able to hit the ENTER key to space things down a bit, then just type into these blank lines. (NOTE: I changed the img tag to imx so that you can see the format. Key want you want, then insert the next image, and do the same [imx]http://THe URL to your image is here[/imx]
