Hey Pete: I think you can just add some blank lines in between the tags for the pics and you're putting your post together. That is, put your first pic in the post. After the closing img tag for the pic, hit the enter a couple times to enter some blank lines. Then, plug in your second pic, and do the same thing. You can use these blank lines for your comments. That's the way I do it anyway. Hope this helps.

Pike... BIG pike.... HUGE PIKE!!!!
Rich Clemens replied to Fishing 24/7's topic in General Discussion
That's amazing. Quite the respectable catch in hard water or soft. Great day eh ? Congrats. -
Yeah - they don't make cartoons like they used to. Bring back the old one-button / one control joy stick. It was the simple life. I'll bet even ole GCD remembers the days when there was no such thing as 'CHAT' (Deja vu Glen ?)

Too bad this place ain't on the West Arm or I'd check it out I'd 2nd or 3rd or 4th or whatever, the French River area. My wife and I have been going there for many years. Unbeatable country.

Although not familiar with the event, would a "Silent Auction" work. Some places around here do this at some of their events. Each person participating is given a number. The items are placed out on a table with a piece of paper onto which the person writes down their number and the amount they are bidding - for that item. You can see all the bids for each item and watch them grow. Be sure to announce what time the bidding will be closed. So, if there is something you really want, keep checking back, and increasing your bid. At the end, with everyone around, announce the item, winner's number, and the amount they bid. Collect the money and hand over the item. If the person is no longer there, we just move to the next highest bid. Our church has had a couple of these and you can raise some good $$$ with this - and everyone has a lot of fun with it. Just a thought and some items could get pretty competative - especially when it is for such a great cause. Too bad I live so far away.

I'm getting the same feeling down here as well. We have the Eastern Outdoor show in Harrisburg coming up in February. It's a 9 - 10 day event. I like to check out the new rods and tackle and each year there is less and less. Seems like the price they are charging for a spot is driving the smaller folks out. There was one group that made some larger spinners and I usually picked up a few each year - last two years they we're there. Two reasons I attended last year. 1). Get a break from Cabin Fever and 2). to chat with the folks from NOTO and pick up some of their literature. $11.00 per ticket (2) and $8.00 to park + 2 hour drive one way. Kinda doubt we make the trip this year - especially since I'm now allowed to get a new boat

Shucks .... still not the one I'm looking for, but much appreciated. I agree that is was strange that there was a strong wire on the outside (underneath), but there was. Maybe someday, some where, I'll run across them again. Spent a hour yesterday searching on-line and nothing. Could very well be out of production as this was about 3 years ago. Much appreciate all help and listing possibilities though.

A thank you from Jen, Domenic, and Emma

Jen: I have to think that we too have experienced the great joy giving really is and to be part of of Sonny and his family. I've never met Sonny myself, but it is easy to tell just the kind of man he was by reading all the posts on OFC. Indeed a pleasure. -
Sorry Chris. I know it was not a Squirrly Tail. The one on this page is about 13". The ones we had were about half that size. Appreciate the thought and possibility though. Spoon: It is smaller than the Shallow Invader - but is very similar in appearance (but a little smaller). I have a couple of the Shallow Invaders and have had some nice hits on them. But - just not quite what we're after, but I do appreciate the response.

I'll see if anyone can come up with the name or manufacturer of a lure I'm looking for. My wife had a couple of these and really liked fishing with them. Unfortunately Pike liked them too and destroyed them both. I've checked a number of tackle stores (including where we bought them) and also on the Internet - no luck. They resemble the Shallow Invader by Musky Innovations (in general appearance), but what we had were a little smaller than this - maybe about 6 inches in length. Plastic lip, hard body and soft tail. I also seem to remember they had a wire running down the the outside of the lure as well. This is the Shallow Invader as a reference/comparison to what I'm looking for. I'd like to purchase a couple more if I can find them.

My Dad Has been in The Hospital (NF)UPDATE
Rich Clemens replied to Mike the Pike's topic in General Discussion
Best of everything for your Dad's surgery. Keep your faith high and your Dad's too - everything will come out just fine. Keep us posted. -
Pete - I'm glad to see someone thinks the color of the boat should match up with the vehicle pulling it. Now that I have a blue F-150, it just does not match my boat. I've been trying to convince Patsy of that all year and I'm just not making any progress. Since I have as blue cover for the boat, she say's it does match the truck. Any chance you could help out here ?

Softwater for me. That's an easy one as I've never had/taken/desired the opportunity to sit my butt on a slab of ice. Of course, ya never know until ya try it. But, a day out with good friends may just be the ticket. Someday I may give it a whirl, but my fishing buds down here don't ice fish either. Whatcha think GCD. Just pick me up on your way through. A little Lakair GTG in January ... you can build the camp fire. We'll just cut a hole in the ice, shove the boat down through, and off we go. There's some softweater underneath that hard stuff ..... just gotta be.
