  1. I've been trying the swim-baits a little more, just as you said, to mix things up a bit. Didn't do too bad last year with Pike. Looks like you've gotten off to great start this year. Congrats on the nice fish.
  2. Patsy and I will be there - along with our two 4-legged girls. COUNT (2). Cabin #5. Just out from the lodge. Arriving late Thursday afternoon the 17th - Leaving Saturday the 26th. Gonna take in a good week of musky fishing while we are there. Catching - well that be another story that has yet to be told.
  3. 88 yesterday and again today. Wishin' I had put in the AC units yesterday. Definitely on the list when I get back from work late this afternoon. Little taste of what's to come ?
  4. I'd really like to see what Lakair looks like about now. Seeing as a bunch of us will be there in a few short weeks.
  5. Good Times, Good friends, and a great report.
  6. Hey TJ. How about jumping the car, running down to Lakair, and taking a couple pics for us
  7. Those are indeed some great pics.
  8. Aw man ... that's a great little get-away. I'm jealous.
  9. I just got a note from Kevin as I asked the same question. Water levels are down and no relief in site. He's had to extend the floating docks a bit to get into some deeper water. Launching is a bit of a challenge, but they have launched some larger boats there. Would be nice if we could get a few pics of the launching area/docks to see what we're gonna run into here in a few weeks. Capt Hooked ... ya on here ?
  10. I see that once in a while up on the French - lots of canoes and kayaks up there. We'll drop it back to a slow 'trolling speed' as we come near and pass. Sure would be easy for one of them to tip over and possibly have some bad results. We've seen a few boats roar right past without the first thought of their safety. Just have to shake your head in disbelief. We too make sure they're OK.
  11. Great to hear that Lew. I can certainly see why you moved there.
  12. Now how cool is that. Have a great day Joey.
  13. Man O Day, it sure looks like people are going to be hurtin' big time with levels like that. Sure hope the rain gods are kind to you folks .... soon.
  14. Attaboy Art - Hope ya have a great one.
  15. (705) 898-2936. Had to get a fuel filter replaced at The Sports Center last year. (Probably a little late in my reply).
  16. You guys are scaring me. I just picked up my 3rd tracker boat and I've never had a problem with the prior 2 (kocking on wood now). Sure do hope you can get this taken care of. Bunch on run-around Bull and blaming the other person. Best of luck to you and keep the pressure on.
  17. We'd love to hear about your trip when you get back. I'll be at Wolseley in early September - just let me one or two will ya.
  18. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... rub it in.
  19. Hud: Do a search on Wolseley in this forum and you should fine a number of discussions. I have stayed there for a numbner of years and I'm sure I have reports out there and other comments on the lodge and the fishing.
  20. Patsy and I will be in cabin 5 - just out from the main lodge. Be sure to stop by sometime and say HI. We're arriving on Thursday the 17th - and staying the following week.
  21. If I recall from reading the regs, those of us from the states don't need the card when we bring our own boat into Canada - unless we're gonna be on the water 45 or more days in a row. Rental agreement works as well. As you have one from PA, I believe Ontario would recognize that anyway. Should get off my tail and get it as well.
  22. ingenious way to meet other OFC'rs Randy. Love it.
  23. Very nice. You're wetting my apetite to get back up there ... just a little 1 1/2 months to go.
  24. Welcome to OFC pikeguy.
  25. I see to recall a pic the last time ya let yer beer lyin' around.
