  1. Congrats to you team. Sunday's GOLD MEDAL game should be a great one. Looking forward to it.
  2. Trust me. I won't tell any of them to have the clothes washed, house cleaned, and a hot meal on the table when I come home.
  3. I checked our listings and I should be able to pick it up. Appreciate the score update. We did our part, now we'll look to our Canadian friends to do the same. Sure hope we see you again on Sunday. Should be better than any Super Bowl Party.
  4. Thanks Rick. I sure hope I can catch your game tonite.
  5. Any update on the score of the USA game ? Darn thing ain't televised on any channels I get.
  6. Sounds like a dream we'd all like to wake up to. You catch more fish in one day than I catch all year. Congrats on some fantastic days.
  7. I don't blame them for celebrating. The ladies worked hard for it so let them live and enjoy their accomplishments.
  8. Hey - What's better than a great friendly rivalry. Congrats to your gals on a well played game. Now, let's hope both of our teams win their semi-finals tonite. Then we'll have yet another great game for the GOLD.
  9. Bikinis too ?
  10. Just a few minutes left and the Canadian gals are throwing us a shut-out. Allow me to be the first to congratulations to my Canadian friends. (Oh well - we'll be bringing home the GOLD on Sunday )
  11. All the pre-talk about the Russian team being contenders for the Gold, they really didn't show it last night. Seems like their entire team team was not playing on the same page. Good for Canada though - the guys played a great day. I'm all for a USA and Canada re-match for the Gold.
  12. Go ahead, win a few if you want. Sunday - the USA will being breaking out the brooms. (Me too - I was pulling for Canada to make it into the semi-finals).
  13. Been certified for many years and back in the 1990's, I was also a CPR instructor. Boy how things have changed since then. I've had to do CPR more times than I can remember. What a thrill it is to know that once in a while, someone will be able to go home again - and that it wasn't a one-way trip. Ya just never know. Remember - the next time it could be your spouse or a loved one - and you're their last chance of seeing tomorrow.
  14. Ya know what happened last time. If it happens again, you're gonna have a whole country knocking on yer door to kick your back side.
  15. I talked with the folks from Lunge Lodge a couple years ago at a show in Monroeville, PA and, if I recall correctly, they are focusing more on the American Plan during the high season and have some house-keeping in the off season. Sounds like they give preference for AP, but if they still have some last minute openings, you may get a HK package. My Dad stayed there a number of years ago and really liked it. Can't hurt to drop them an E-mail or a phone call and let them know what you're looking for.
  16. That would be great .... a re-match for the GOLD. We're all great friends and will keep the precious metals between us.
  17. I guess little ole TJ couldn't get his legs up high enough One heck of a game though.
  18. Have a few more TJ .... it ain't over yet.
  19. Tied for what ... a whole 22 seconds ???? Gonna be a hard fought and physical game.
  20. As I sit here, I can't help but realize just how saddened and sorry my Canadian friends really are. It's just not fair to all of you and I really hate to see this happen. So, we'll just win the game. Then you all will feel better and have absolutely nothing to apologize for.
  21. Interesting read Rob - Thanks. I think there is still one living WWI veteran in the US.
  22. Probably the first hockey game I watched in my life ... what a great game it was for our Canadian friends.
  23. 3 - 0
  24. Normally I don't watch hockey ... but Team Canada is really looking good into the 2nd period. Seem to have really good puck movement and control. GO TEAM CANADA
