  1. Someone needs to get to his summer cottage.
  2. Thanks for posting Vic. Some great color combinations on those salt water fish. How about some of those GIANT SQUID ya see on TV the next time ??
  3. Safe travels guys. Give a toot as you pass through the southern part of PA. If you're coming through Breezewood or Beford, I'm less than an hour away.
  4. Our first year at Wolseley Lodge, we hired a guide. Marcel was his name. Noce fellow, seemed to know the water pretty good. Been guiding for them quite a few years. We were trying to target musky, but he really didn't do much musky fishing. He took us to several places that had potential. Although we didn't catch any, it gave us a few places to try again. I do believe Wolseley uses other guides, as I've seen a number of groups going out at the same time, but I don't know the names of the others. Primarily they were going our to bass and walleye.
  5. Bring it on ... 3 more sleeps. (of course, the last night don't count)
  6. No problem Dan. Uh ... just be sure to bring the mantle with you. I'll need something to set it on. Who knows - it may just end up in Virginia ... ya just never know. Looking forward to saying Hello - sounds like I'll have the opportunity to meet some more new OFC'rs this yeear.
  7. Congratulations. I'm sure she'll make you all proud. PS: Boy - can I see mom in that earlier photo. PSS: Nice tie.
  8. Me thinks this is the year the trophy goes south of the border. We have a number of boys from down here heading up "on a mission"
  9. I certainly hope so. Saturday is a great fun-filled day and loads of good company and a little Bull on the side. Don't forget to bring some things along to sweeten the prize table. That's on my list of things to do today. Fishing stuff shopping. Now that's the stuff
  10. Welcome Teresa. You grew up in the area the my wife and I simply love. Unmatched Scenery, mostly unspoiled, and great fishing. I'll be up that way just next week - and two 2 weeks this coming September. Hey - I am looking forward to meeting Mr. Big Cliff at Lakair next week. It will be great to put a face to a board name. (At least, I hear that he's planning to come up).
  11. I sure hope the water levels improve at Wolseley by September. I'll be rolling in there on Sept. 4. Keep thinking about that sand bar that is right there at the launch. Best of luck to ya and post a report when you get back .. with pics of the big fish of course.
  12. Excellent Opener. Congrats.
  13. I just sold my 2005 Tracker Targa V17 WT this past March and it also had a 2-stoke 90 Merc on it. Never had a bit of problem with the boat or the engine. Over those years, I've put a few dings in her and managed a few rocks here and there. The boat is stored inside when not in use, so it's not subject to the elements, even in winter. The interior and carpet were in excellent condition. Actually that was the second tracker I had owned and traded this one in on the Tracker Pro Guide with a 4-stroke 90 Merc on her. Dealer gave me 8K for the Targa. Probably could have received a little more had I tried to sell it myself. Good luck to ya.
  14. Sweet report. Looks to be some real nice scenery there as well. Good Times.
  15. That's gotta be a tough trip Rob. But hey, at least you were able to get on the water. I'll be heading up to Wolseley Lodge the first full week of September.
  16. Allow me to share my condolences as well. I know, some day, I'm gonna have to go through this as well. Sounds like she lived a long and happy life as not many make it to 93. Lots of great memories eh ?
  17. Great report bud. I can see why you spent as much time on the water as you did. I'd make the most of it too.
  18. Beautiful and well defined lines on that fish. Very Nice and Congrats.
  19. Great looking baits there Mike and the proof that you have a design that can catch fish. COngrats on your win Brian. Just two more weeks and I'll take my turn.
  20. Someone needs to bring one of those electric ones ... like ya can put in your fire place.
  21. That's simply awesome.
  22. Patsy and I hope you're successful. (crossing our fingers).
  23. I agree. Awesome pics. Love the Loon pics.
  24. Great show Aaron. From the looks of the pics, the young lad is gonna be giving Dad a run for his money. These are the photos you'll treasure for a lifetime. Thanks for sharing.
