  1. The ones I've seen, they all show great craftmanship.
  2. Ya know. If I would ever switch over to the baitcasting reels .. I'd need to have a couple of those. Great work Chris.
  3. Aw man Kelvin, that is not what I wanted to hear. You truely will be on our thoughts and prayers my friend.
  4. I did something similar with a milk crate. After a couple years, I went to a shoulder pack. Got tired carrying back and forth to the boat every day. Now I have two free hands to carry other stuff
  5. Great to hear. You'll be in great shape and all ready for soft-water.
  6. That's one awesome way to spend Chrismas. Thanks for sharing.
  7. If we did that ... then we wouldn't get our Christmas wish now would we Merry Christmas to all our friends on OFC
  8. We've got Diane and you in out thoughts and prayers as well. This stuff can be beat and Diane will be one of them. Keep us posted. Merry Christmas folks.
  9. You have more than a lot of people have and, after what your family has been through, I'm sure this will be one of the best Christmas's ever. Mery Christmas to all and maybe we'll see each other again this summer.
  10. Mery Christmas to all our freinds here on OFC. May the jolly one place that one special lure under your tree today - the one the will land your PB. Nice and quiet here now, but when all the grandkids arrive later on this morning - I'm sure they'll take care of this peace-and-quiet thing. Merry Christmas friends.
  11. Great to see this and providing just one dog a chance for a long and happy life.
  12. We'll continue to keep you folks in our prayers as well. Nasty stuff for sure, but it can be beat. Thanks for dropping in and givinng us an update.
  13. I just can't imagine going through something like that Lew. Greate tribute to a fine man.
  14. I would have to say this was the best year for us. June - Lakair. Caught and landed a 47 1/2" Musky. PB for me and the first musky I had landed in the last 6 years. Woo Hoo. Fast forward to September and the French River. Patsy caught and landed her very first musky at 49". Less than two hours later, I landed a 49" - a second PB for me - in the same year. The very next day, I landed a nice 45" musky. Best year I ever had and may be tough to beat ... but we'll be trying come next year.
  15. Sure to hope he is found safe and sound - and very soon.
  16. Man - that Musky is HUGE !!!! Congrats.
  17. Yeah ... and I'll bet teh guy ran his extension code over to the neighbor's as well.
  18. Easy Up / Easy Down. That's the way to do it.
  19. I had the Garmin 255W (4") and switched last year to the 1450 LMT (5"). Really like this with the larger screen and life-time maps and traffic updates. One thing about the map updates, even with broadband, it takes close to 2 hours to complete the process. I get a notification of new maps several times a year. Traffic updates are typically in the larger cities as it identified a traffic backup on one of my recent trips to Pittsburgh and it was right. Bought this one from Target on Black Friday last year for 149.99. This is after I waited in line for hours just to get into the store to get one - only to be sold out before I even got close to the counter. Came home, jumped on-line, and bought it for the same sale price. Then went to work. Overall we are very pleased with the unit and has never led us astray yet.
  20. Man, I don't think my back could handle somthing like that. Hat's off to the lucky angler.
  21. I agree. Congrats to the angler on that one. That would put a huge smile on anyone's face.
  22. No issues here, although for economic reasons, we didn't have one last year and none planned for this year. I work for a large family-owned business and the owners are very personable and approachable. Very fortunate to work for the family that I do and, after 30+ years here, I'm wouldn't want to work anywhere else. I've always been treated very well over the years.
  23. Great way to break into muskie fishing ... couple real beauties there. Congrats to the fisherman.
  24. Welcome Aadil. Great looking fish there and we'd love to hear (and see) about your North-Western Ontario adventures.
  25. That ye friends. Heading out shortly to our daughter's place in Pittsburgh for what should be a very fine meal. I think I'll be bypassing all the "Black Friday" chaos and spend a day at work.
