  1. And you're noting posting the coordinates of such Roger's Bay on Lake X
  2. Do a search on this site. I've stayed at Wolseley Lodge, Rainbow Camp (also on North Channel), Lakair (West arm), and at Bears Den. Hitting Wolseley and Rainbow again this September. I have reports and shared info over the years on all of them. But, it has been quite a few years sine we were at Bears Den - but I would go back
  3. Last year, the bulk of my casting was throwing DC-10's. Put a 45, 47, and 49 in the boat on them. My wife and I use primarily bucktails and in-line spinners almost exclusively. Early morning / evening we tried some top water. Trolling, I don't have much - typically jointed believers and depth raiders. Last year at one camp, I was throwing the DC-10s and having no action nor seeing any fish. I down-sized to a Mepps bucktail with #5 blades and hooked into one and had a coupkle follows. Get a little varitey and, if one thing ain't showing any results, switch things up a bit. When my wife and I fish, we typically have different size baits on, to see what they may be interested in. I still consider myself a rookie and many on here probably forgot more about muskly fishing than I'll ever know. You already got some tips from some well experienced musky anglers.
  4. :thumbsup_anim:
  5. Gonna be a challenge for me to have a better year than last year ... but we're gonna give it the old collegr try.
  6. I'd take the French River. Always dreamed of having a summer cottage up there - and we keep on dreamin'. Work kinda gets in the way.
  7. Yup - Saturday June 16. We'll be there for opening day. Sure hope they're hungry.
  8. Well this ain't lookin' good do far. Gonna be awful lonely.
  9. Saturday June 16. Pike derby and fish fry. Some folks come earlier and/or stay later. Lots of great fun. Meet other OFC'rs. Share only truthfully stories. (most of the time .... Ha ha). All around good time. Check in with Kevin/Leslie to reserve a cabin or camping spot.
  10. Patsy and I will be arriving on Friday (The 15th I believe). We'll be in Cabin 9 this year. Staying the entire following week in hopes on putting another Lakair beauty in the boat. Gonna be tough beating our banner musky fishing last year. (Well ... for us anyway). Looking forward to seeing everyone and hopefully some new members will join us. Aleady have a little goody bag of stuff for the prize table.
  11. A day late as usual. Hope ya had a GREAT DAY.
  12. Sweet. Congrats to the angler.
  13. I've hit the 400 late afternoon /early evening on a Friday night and it's even backed up nearing where the ETR connects onto 400 - and it is bumper to bumper to Barree. I've also changed my travel plans to hit it early afternoon now. Pulling the boat, I picked a lane and just stayed there.
  14. Excellent. Great shots
  15. Calling for 12-18 inches in the mountains just about 1 hr west of me. Is this what they call an "Onion Snow"
  16. Got some laughs here as well.
  17. Hey Kelvin. Good to se ya online again. Stay strong my friend.
  18. Welcome Steve. Sure looks like you'd be a great addition to any of the teams - they could use the help

  21. It can stay like this through spring
  22. We have the bps xps and love them. We even forget we have them on. The inflatables are less bulky and don't limit the fishing and landing
  23. Truely sorry to hear of this accident. We also share our deepest condolences to the families.
  24. That's about what I did. I would open up all these things and write on it with big black magic marker to remove me from all future mailings. And I also thank them for paying the return postage. I really don't get any more credit card applications, or other junk any more. I have fun and write different things on them.
  25. No rant here my friend. Such will always keep her in your heart. Painful times to say the least, but you have a lot of close fiends right there with you - even in spirit from miles away.
