Gimme a pack of rubber worms, 3.0 offset hook, Florida rig, nice heavy weed bed .... I'm good to go. Had some luck on crank baits and spinner baits. Mostly though .. they get the ole rubber worm.

I'm glad I don't have to help ya pack. I ain't got half that many lures and get a headache trying to decide which ones to pack for each trip.

Congrats on the move EddyK. We had to paint every room in the house when we moved in last Spring. I was so dang sick of painting after that ... I don't want to look at another brush. Lots of bass dishing around those parts. I'll be sure to honk as I pass by on Rt. 15 to Rideau Ferry this July.

I'll bet you have a great time with your grand-son up there. Those will be the days he'll long remember and talk about. I didn't get much of an opportunity with fish with my g-father,but he also loved his Ontario fishing. Make the most of those days then, when you come back, share your report and pics with us, we'd love to see them. I'm chomping at the bit too, as I have two trips planned up that way this year. Lakair in June and two weeks on the lower French in September. Sure am anxious to get back up there.

Great pics Whopper. I've did a one-day fly-in several years back. I'd love to do that again ... even try a week-long trip.

Passin' my condolences to you too bud. 90 years is a great life and lots of memories to hold on to. My Grand-father was 92 when he passed. He just loved fishing and fished as long as he was able. He made many trips into Ontario over the years.
