  1. That sucks.................... I'm feeling for ya Ron...guess you have a reason to drink away the pain now. I hope you heal fast.....
  2. It's all about hockey...which the laffs don't qualify for.... Obviously if a baseball team went out and couldn't hit the ball....well...same thing If every time I cast I hit and snagged on shore I'd either try to get better or I'd quit....why do the laffs torment their fans....oh yeah....brainwashing One thing you can be sure of is that at any given time more than 50% of the laffs will suck and that......means losing......and year 5 of golfing in the spring...
  3. What are you guys talking about.......this is all part of the big plan. Surley you know they are going to put it together after the break and finish first overall , go 16-0 in the playoffs and every player will get knighted by the Queen. After all...they are the laffs....remember!!!! Don't lose hope...missing the playoffs 4 years straight means nothing.....
  4. I've got the same one and it's awesome. Amazing picture and sound. Can't go wrong imo.
  5. Soooooo...... 6 goals against.....that makes the laffs the most scored against team...toskala smoskala...
  6. Because drinking American beer is like drinking watered down water.....
  7. In Ontario youmust have a head and a galley and you must be anchored. No person is permitted to consume alcohol while the boat is in motion. Then once you have pulled up anchor and continue on your way the captain can not be over the limit. Quebec is totally different.
  8. They got lucky.....Washington looked like they had mono or some other life sucking illness. How else can you explain losing to the laffs
  9. So she's like the ....Popiel pocket girlfriend??? I'm sure Dave could tuck her away somewhere..
  10. http://www.geteskimo.com/foundations/store...asp?category=52 Any feedback...I'm in the market and they are $150 cheaper than the jiffy. Thanks
  11. I'm usually at the games...would have loved to go to this one but my daughter will be attending in my place with her grandpa. I'll tell her to look for you. Should be neat. Oh and it's "scotia bank place" not "corel center"
  12. Down town will be expensive......15 min drive will get you much cheaper rates. All within a $20 cab ride.... Unless you specically want to be right down town consider that Ottawa is not a big city and you can get from east to west in under 20 min. The Weston is right down town, nice and not overboard for rates. The riverrock inn in Rockland is a quick drive away and new and has good rates.
  13. I heard they were playing the Hurricanes last night. Did they win? I missed it as I was watching the SEns pound the Stanley cup champs.....
  14. My guess is the Leafs will go undefeated the rest of the season......set many new NHL records and win the cup for the next 8 yrs.......I do wonder however which would be better...Spadina or Young??? Decisions....decisions.......
  15. Bwahahahahahahaahahahahhaahahhaaaahahhaahaahahahahahahhaahhahahhahahahha........ .....................please stop,,,,,,,you're killing me.......................bwhahahahhahahahhahahhahahhaahahahah....oh my god that was a good one........"cup contender" ............... ..........I'm cryin here .............. 12 1 7 4..."contender"....bwahahahha
  16. Ice daming occures when the air in the attic is not the same temp as the outside air. 80%-90% of the soffits vented correctly should be sufficient to move enough air, the problem may be the roof vents themselves. The # of vents and placement is critical to moving the air correctly. I believe the code calls for a minimum of 1 mushroom vent for every 300 qubic feet of attic space and they should be installed within 2' of the ridge. If you find mushroom vents are not cutting it or are getting covered with snow on a low slope roof you may want to install a couple whirly birds ( http://www.luxurymetals.com/turbinevents.h...3c-983d9bdb35ba ) and even install them on a 16" tower to keep them above the snow line. If infact the vented aluminum soffit is covering old plywood soffit you may have to remove some soffit and drill 4" holes in the plywood to allow more draw. But as was stated if access to your attic is not possible removing some soffit and doing it from the outside is your next option.
  17. Well it makes sense after the memo sent out by Gary Bettman yesterday morning. I was a bit shocked but figured the league would have to step in sooner or later.. Attention officiating staff for Leafs Ducks game I find it incredibly difficult to deal with the Pheonix issue at hand with the embarrassment and distraction the Leafs present as being the only team in the league without a win. At this time it's in the best interests of all parties that we "level" the playing field. Therefor during tonights match up I would like to see as many 5 on 3's as possible, 5 on 4's will also do but in the event of a mass of short handed goals by the Ducks further intervention will be needed. How do you expect me to screw up the rest of the league with the Leafs grabbing the headlines? It's not fair. G.B.
  18. Aww..that's too bad!
  19. Any updates?? My tv's out ...what was the score?? Did they win??
  20. as usual.....unbelievable
  21. I think it has been shown that several bodies of water are capable of producing fish in excess of 60 " and if caught with the right feed bag on will have world record proportions. The Ottawa river has produced the world record catch and release at 62" as claimed by Bill Craig. And if that fish had attained a girth of 31" it would (by calculations) weigh 66.20 lbs I know of 3 confirmed 60" plus out of the St.Lawrence and with the girth that they can achieve on the Larry it is not impossible to potentially see a fish of 61"x 32 with a weight approaching 70lbs Or even a 60" x 33" and weigh over 70lbs Dales fish at 57" x 33" clearly had more length potential and if able to once again attain a girth proportion of 33" ....who knows how big it could get. I also heard of a pike study done on Nippissing that involved netting and the MNR reportedly netted several muskies during that study that were approaching 63-65" . These fish on a body of water such as the Nip. surley have record potential. G.Bay has all the right ingredients for a W.R. fish but you just never hear anyone talk about it. Apparently (be it rumor or not) there was a Manitoulin area fish caught not recorded that weighed in excess of 70lbs. I cannot confirm though and supposedly it was years ago. LOTM Lac St. Louis and St Pierre have proven also to have very large muskies and in good numbers as well. Once again you don't hear alot about them. So you can see several water bodies have had record fish potentials and those are only the fish we are seeing. Genetics, body of water, food, yearly weather patterns and many other factors will play into the max size potential of Muskies. Ultimately you have to be in the right spot at the right time otherwise anglers(guides) such as Collin, Thorpe and Lazarus(and others) would catching record fish regularly instead of the likes of O'brien and Macnair. I believe that some muskies reach a certain size and then their habits change completely so we never see them again. Is it not possible these monsters can become solely deep water dwellers?? But the debate will continue. And those with penis envy will find some way to discredit every fish and every person who caught it no matter what the proof and thus credible folks will keep it secret. The rest won't even bother to participate in the whole nonsense. And the ugliness of ego will continue and prevail once again.
  22. nobody thought there was 40+ lb rainbows or 20+lb largies either...doen't mean they are not out there.
  23. You are entitled to your opinion......not that it's ageed to...but none the less you are entitled. As you said ....you are not a biologist.
