P Trap primer 100% I only know this because a friend at work was just asking the same thing and I did the research. The tube usually goes into the floor drain to keep the trap topped up and prevent gasses from backing up. Not all laundry faucets have it, some will have it optional with a threaded plug replacement.

I'm glad you got it resolved and I think contacting HQ is a good idea. Seems like a no-brainer... they weren't activated so you couldn't spend AND you had the receipt. This is the kind of customer experience they want to avoid at any cost because IT DOESN'T COST THEM A DAMN THING! I suspect your complaint will get some internal attention.

It comes across as disingenuous to slag the competition, regardless of what you've heard from patrons. They probably hear the same thing about your store. Full marks for offering to help but you should have left it at that. Misfish isn't the only one thinking it and you dismissed him. Also bad taste.

I'm not sure how Joey selected teams but I can assure you there was no stacking when I was running it. Teams were picked through a random number generator. Some members requested certain teams and they were denied. Received some attitude about it too... lame. The fact is; 10-12 members per team, you're lucky to get 3 active participants per team. The "stacked" teams may have 4 or 5 active participants. Team Captains can play a role in motivating team members but some players won't give it a second thought after signing up. Individual Tourny? Sounds great but I can predict the outcome. 100+ will join; 15 will be active, 5 will be competitive and Simon will win Perhaps organize a Facebook tourny.

3M makes a clear vinyl tape that is perfect for your application. Detail shops use this stuff for the "invisible bra" to protect hoods from stone chips. This stuff is so durable that a stone will dent before it scratches the paint. Check with a local car/truck accessory shop or detail shop; they might have scraps available. Failing that, I could give you some 2" wide strips to make what you need. PM me if you're interested.

I guess we're on the same page. I think Pete's point was 'do we really need another expense when it's hard enough to meet day to day financial obligations?'. Not so much as 'do I get a tank of gas OR put food on the table?'. There's no debate over winter rubber putting the odds in your favour but some may experience more hardship in being forced to park a vehicle during the winter months when a simple, common sense decision is what's necessary.

For the price, I would opt for a conventional bow mount TM. It offers more versatility and MUCH better directional ability even in light winds than a rear mounted TM. The downside to the bow mount is the prop coming out of the water in heavy waves. I use my bow mount in conjunction with my main motor for trolling. Mine is fitted with iPilot so I can set the direction and tend to the riggers or fighting a fish with worrying about direction. You can't do that with a motor mount TM because the bow may blow off course or on some outboards, the main motor will steer itself in one direction. You would require a separate bank of batts for either bow mount or motor mount TM At WOT the TM prop and housing is out of the water as it's mounted above the anti-ventilation plate. You may experience a little out-of-the-hole drag.

You are no stranger to hard times. Did you give up your van and boat? That's none of my business and I don't expect an answer. Would you have been disgruntled by a law mandating you spend $1000 on tires for a van that wasn't worth $1000? I don't mean to personalize this but for Joe Average, getting to and from work on using public transit isn't always an option. In Southern Ontario, winter rubber isn't necessary the vast majority of the time. I trust Joe Average to make a responsible decision when and how to drive on those few days and nights when winter rubber would be beneficial.

I've run the bimini or full top almost every time out this year and I've logged almost 150 hours on the motor. It's a lot easier to stay cool than to get cool, likewise for warmth. My new boat has so many top options that it's no longer a nuisance; - full open with top stored flat and out of the way (this required a $30 modification) - bimini - bimini + windshield extension - bimini + windshield extension + side windows - bimini + windshield extension + side windows + rear drop curtain - bimini + windshield extension + side windows + full camper back It's probably not exaggerating to say that the top options have doubled my time on the water on several occasions. I considered getting a buddy heater but I don't think I need it now; although, Mike could wear his shorts. LOL I'll be the pansy out there on Dec. 15th (unless I'm in New Brunswick again) and back at it in March for salmon. Who's coming?

Dan raises an excellent point. Accident data could have shown remarkable improvement if our government mandated NEW ALL SEASON tires by Dec 15 every year. You guys still in favour?

I'm all in favour of MY government having NO SAY in what tires I choose to have on MY car. Give consideration to those that are able to choose when to drive or avoid the conditions. To those that may only drive a handful of kilometers a week. And to those that have a choice of vehicles to drive when the conditions are appropriate. Do I recommend snow tires? Absolutely, to those that have no choice but to drive in adverse conditions. (sub-zero/snow/ice) My wife's Elantra gets snows tomorrow and my Ram, Suburban and Volvo will go without.

Surrre, I take you to that spot last week and now Pete knows about it. I would have been there sooner but I had to keep pulling over to safely read and answer text messages. My boat isn't put away yet!
