Winterizing is really an inaccurate term, It has more to do with being stored and not running than winter...Follow the advice above, maybe add some fuel stabilizer, then its in the engine if you decide to park it for a few months!

Hey Thom, have you ever been to J.B's Fishing Depot in Toronto? North side of the 401 at Martingrove, just east of the 427. They have a great selection of rods and tackle. Brian and Steve will treat you good, they have opened early or stayed open late when I've called and told them I was coming through To on my way up north. Anyone that has had warranty issues with a rod or reel that I've talked to usually gets an over-the-counter replacement.

There are a few length/girth combinations that could make a 52 lb. Muskie. 55"x28" would do it, gotta be a real fat girl to get to that weight!

Closing/winterizing my Trailer on Pigeon Lake, and a few days of Muskie fishing as well.

The water lines should be blown out with compressed air, OR filled with RV antifreeze...At least thats whats done when trailers are winterized, if the heat is on its possible you'll be OK...Might want to verify this with a trailer dealer or Park owner...

I have a similar boat but with a console/full windshield, I upgraded from a 60hp 2 stroke to a 90hp 4 stroke and it made the boat so much more responsive!(and quicker) I don't think the 10hp difference would be worth it, unless there was another reason to change motors...Then what the heck!

Beware the dusty battery, some of them are sitting on the shelf for years, they get monthy charge ups but its better to get a fresh one! Buy one somewhere that sells alot and you will be happier...

My condolences, I lost my Dad 4 years ago, I did the midnight drive from St Catharines to Linsay Hospital after receiving that same phone call, when I arrived it was to have the Doc tell me he had passed away...I sure wish I had gotten there alittle earlier to say goodbye and tell him how much I loved him. He knew, as your Dad did.
