Great report. I have very similar pictures of Old Woman that I took last summer. I'd LOVE to fish that spot in the winter. It truly is a magnificent spot.

drop shotting & casting small jigs like grubs, or even things like beetle spins would be great for that rod.

I was out at Oshawa today for 3-4 hours in the afternoon, and got skunked. What else is new? I'll be on the creeks again tomorrow morning rubbing shoulders with everyone else. Who knows, maybe I'll catch something....

I'm in the market for a new baitcaster for a pitching outfit, and I'm leaning heavily towards the Curado. I like the Ambassadeurs, but I've had a TON of problems with Abu's spinning reels lately, so I'm unsure as to whether or not I want to give them another chance.
