  1. Great stuff!
  2. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I loves me some wabbit
  3. Depending on the species of fish, sometimes trolling the bait well above will trigger strikes. If you put the diver down ten feet for example, and the bait has a lip that takes it down 8 feet, than it will be at 18 feet. Just don't think you have to place it right in front of their noses every time. As for planer boards, I've never ran jet divers off of them. I would run deeper baits off jet divers and then shallow runners off of the planer boards. I hope that helps.
  4. A rod of at least 7 ' 6" or 8' is a must.
  5. I know. So far I've managed to either make an improper sign or forget it all together for everyone one of my successful trips this year. My apologies.
  6. Nice fish. T'was a learning experience for me as well.
  7. Wow! Stellar report. Those rivers are absolutely gorgeous!
  8. The wind was unrelenting. Shore fishing would've been much more comfortable.
  9. This was the biggest of the two that I caught.
  10. I was out today from around 11 30 to five and only managed two. Went to Oshawa the night before looking for a sucker and drew a blank, and fishmaster was out by the time I got there.
  11. Nice going. I talked to you just before you left. I didn't know you posted on the board. Good stuff.
  12. We were there today, and didn't even come close to the numbers you guys got. Good work.
  13. Some beauty fish there. I sure do love creek # 1, but have yet to land a brownie out of there. Nice going boys.
  14. Looks like you slammed 'em! Nice going.
  15. Also, when will he be open on Friday? Is it 9 like his messageboard says?
  16. Unless there's a lot of current in the lake, the odds on the ice being out are pretty slim.
  17. Alrighty, thanks.
  18. I'll be at Fishmaster's Friday morning. If you see an older red lund with a longer haired kid, say hi. Would you say cut up sucker is the best bait? And does Fishmaster have the bait available for purchase?
  19. I just watched it about an hour ago. I wish I could've made it out.
  20. I am awestruck. I'll have to make it up there next winter.
  21. Thanks for the tips. Typically, they aren't as big as crappie or bluegills, so I'd have to selective about which fish to keep. I think I might invest in an electric fillet knife.
  22. I regularly fish lakes with abundant supply of rock bass (to say the least), and instead of keeping walleye or bass for fish fries, I was considering having a rock bass fry. Has anyone here tried them, and do they taste like bluegills, pumpkinseed etc? thanks
  23. Thanks for the heads up.
  24. Nice trout. Believe it or not, that same Lucky Strike spoon has been my most successful on browns this year as well.
  25. I love/hate your reports. Nice walleye!
