  1. I'd like to see them live, but I can't justify paying big money to see a group of musicians that haven't created music for any reason other than fattening their wallets for almost 20 years now. Not to mention James' vocals are completely done now, and him, along with Kirk's horrendous guitar tone, would completely butcher the classic songs. Oh, and Ride The Lightning is probably my favourite.
  2. Good report. I got down to Atherly narrows in hopes of landing some perch for sure, but the wind convinced to not to even bother. Good going.
  3. Driving conditions up by South River/North Bay were among the worst I've ever seen today. PLENTY of cars in the ditch up that way. I couldn't believe the amount of snow up there today.
  4. Your reports are always excellent. I was just up in North Bay today, and seeing all the ice up there made me miss ice fishing even more. That video of fishing on your sonar is excellent!
  5. I was just at Orillia, and all along the north shore at Orillia and east over to places like The Beaver River are still solid ice. Good to see Barrie open, I may be out there tomorrow.
  6. There was one that left quite a bit before us. I swear I've never caught them the same way twice in a row before. I've fished that place two days in a row many times, and NEVER has the same technique been equally as effective both days. Browns are crazy fish.
  7. Nice report.
  8. Good fishing!
  9. Anybody see the south shore today?
  10. Haha. Yes, it is. There's also a set of holes drilled across the paddle as well for baits. It really doesn't serve as a paddle at all, since it's screwed right into the boat.
  11. Go hit the ice for some trout?
  12. Isn't there still lots of ice on the lakes up there?
  13. I've seen quadruple posts.
  14. There's plenty of suckers on the creek
  15. SO CLOSE!
  16. Got out on the lake by around 4 45 this afternoon to try for some trout. Arrived to some stern east winds, which wasn't very encouraging. We started trolling, and after about twenty minutes I get freight train of a hit, and after a few jumps, it gets off. For the next 90 minutes we plugged away without even a sniff. Finally, at about 7 00, we established a pattern. We anchored off of a deep rocky point, and casted into the shallow water. In total, we went 4 for 7 on trout, and 5 chunky OOS smallmouth as a nice added bonus. Slower than the last trip, but at least we got into some fish. An average size fish for the day. The biggest trout of the trip, that I'd estimate to be around 6 pounds. All fish were released.
  17. Looks like a lemprey to me. I've never seen them that big before. Good going?

  19. Thanks for the help, guys. I'll report back with my results (or lack thereof)
  20. Can't wait!
  21. Nice going. Some really good sized steelies there.
  22. I'll be heading up to North Bay for an open house at Canadore College this coming Saturday, and I hope to hit the Notty on the way back. I would really appreciate it if someone could steer me in the direction of some parking lots that would place me on some nice holes. PM me if you like. Thanks in advance.
  23. Thanks for sharing. Great report.
