Lots of smallmouth of willing to bite. Plenty of baitfish off the dock for the kids. Most of the walleye I saw were VERY close to the slot, so measure carefully. They bite almost exclusively at dusk/after dark in the lake for some reason, but I managed a nice shore lunch on an overcast afternoon. Also a good chance at some brute musky. My dog chased a good sized one through the shallows at the boat launch/dog beach.

The last 2 weekend episodes have been repeats of the "lead up" shows...perhaps next week is the announcement. The site says "winners announced summer 2012"...It's still summer guys...

Sucks to be going into the bulk of the season without a rig ready to go. I would probably pick the 2 stroke on that rig if it was me...and try not to be too hard on the dealer - I'm sure they hear 'I'll be back' 10 times a day. Sadly money talks...
