Saw almost 80 yesterday evening on the upper Severn. Crappies were already in the spots I was hoping they were, lol!

Picking which remote I use really depends on what I'm fishing for. I've got the first gen I-Pilot Link remote (big LCD screen), the micro remote (small pocket sized remote) and the foot pedal for the Terrova. If I'm fishing fast, casting the shore line or weed edges, it's the foot pedal. If I'm moving from spot to spot vertical jigging or casting to specific stuff it's the micro remote. If I'm veritcal fishing lakers or bass in the fall and moving in between way points, it's the full size Link remote. I've got a use for each of them.

I can't remember the last time I ever weighed a fish. Measurements only for big ones.

Saw 77.9 today. All this heat this fast definitely has put the fish down a bit. Although I did get a couple of really nice smallies off edges with spybaits this morning. Fun technique.

Make sure the software is up to date on the unit. Does yours have a heading sensor? (White puck) I've also read about the wiring inside the control head being wrong from the factory. You wanna make sure the power cable are all bunched up on one side of the head, some guys have opened theirs up and the power cables make a big circle around the control head which messes up the heading sensor.

Guys are paying a lot more then that for muskie baits, especially ones that are discontinued.
