  1. Very muddy lake, vis is almost none existent ?(at least when I was there last year).. Got into some walleyes though, mostly jigging. I've got a buddy who fished that lake and catches them on pretty much everything., No monsters but a decent population for sure.
  2. Goodluck, let us know how it works.
  3. Why not send the phone off to Liquipel? A lot cheaper in the long run then a $50 case X 3. http://www.liquipel.com/
  4. You didn't get the ownership transferred to you when you bought it?
  5. Stupid question, but he didn't question making the same insurance payments on a boat that's worth XX more then the old one? How is that possible?
  6. You shouldn't be surprised you didn't get an answer, email is like snail mail. Easily ignored. Pick up the phone and give them a ring.
  7. Right on man! Looks like you've got a little piece of heaven
  8. That's a tough call, there are so many factors that go into if you can see the thermocline or not.
  9. Biggest purple Rapala Taildancer I can find.
  10. I'd get a nice comfy Sprinter conversion van and be done with it. Big enough for two people, can tow a boat, good fuel mileage compared to others.
  11. I think my flamethrower recommendation was perfectly acceptable
  12. Fish are stuffed, look at all the bait out there. I probably wouldn't be chasing down a SD + fly either if my belly was full, lol!
  13. Can't go wrong with either.
  14. In the canal itself? I grew up in St.Catharines, only time I ever fished it was in the fall for salmon (ie dirty boots). A lot of other options around there that you'd probably fish instead during the summer, etc.
  15. Easy there Arnold!
  16. Right on Rob, a little Gorilla glue would probably help.
  17. I use the side scan on my HB all the time to find rock piles, weed lines, etc.. Love it! I'm sure the Lowrance version is similar.
  18. It sounds like I might need to install AC in the boat
  19. My cats breath smells like cat food.
  20. I run a Trendnet AC1900 with DD-WRT and it's killer. Can't go wrong with an Asus AC66/68 either.
  21. Quick knife through the spine near the back fo the head is quick and painless,
  22. Keep fish for home on your last two days. I wouldn't keep anything (unless you plan on eating it there) before that.
  23. After a quick Google search:
  24. Wait until you feel the fish then set the hook. Too many people are setting the hook on the splash.. Also, bass are known for stunning their prey then coming back. So if the fish misses, just let the bait sit there... 9 times out of 10 they'll come back and eat it up.
  25. Try this.
