  1. I don't reel the swivel through the guides, ever...
  2. No issues landing big boots on giant skien chunks in the late summer on the float setup.
  3. Raven micro swivels for all my braid > leader connections.
  4. 17 from the Sault to Nipigon is a great drive. I hope you stopped at a few of the lookouts! I wanna do that train tour in Agawa Bay in the fall.
  5. Good job, but lakers rarely will pop the rod out of the release (Even the big ones) Gotta keep an eye out for a bouncing rod tip.
  6. Nice job man, can't wait to see some pics when I get home from work (They're blocked here)
  7. This is about the norm for Gbay muskies...
  8. Each of the big 3 have their issues. Although if you're looking at new, I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

Awesome man! Mind posting the EXIF?
  10. Momma wasn't huge, I'll post up some more pics with her. With a Canon EF 100-400mm + the crop factor I'm looking at a total of 640mm on the big end. That lens definitely has some reach (Which you can never have enough of)
  11. Sounds like your weights aren't heavy enough.
  12. I'd rather ban religion then guns.
  13. Just got back from a cross Canada road trip (A little unexpected, but it was fun).. Vancouver > home. Saw this little guy with his momma having a little bit of a snack before bedtime. Gotta admit, not bad for ISO6400 on the Canon 7D MK II. Mmmmmm dandelions! by billmarz, on Flickr
  14. Weights absolutely attract fish, especially the sharks.. I've had lakers hit the canonballs, so they must be doing something
  15. They're definitely cool looking. Looking forward to your review.
  16. After a day of tossing big streamers my shoulder can get pretty sore. Gotta hit the gym more.
  17. Kessel deserved the Conn Smythe.
  18. Once it's centered up put a piece of tape on the camper and the rear window of the truck. Will make lining it up next time a snap. A lot easier with two people however.
  19. I think we've got a few members that guided that lake (Seems like everyone has, lol)
  20. Nice job man! A tripod + long shutter can work wonders
  21. When people's insurance rates skyrocket, they'll get the hint real quick.
  22. If you want to cast like Jesus, used 6lb, lol!
  23. Ugh this sucks. Quality members like him are hard to find.. RIP.
  24. Loaded up with 3 guys and gear? I think when the OP is by himself the boat is fine. It's only when it's loaded that it's a problem.
