  1. 6-12ft, shallower early mornings/evenings.
  2. I'd bet the Ganny is also classified as the same. Would be interesting to hear what a local CO thinks.
  3. Glad I grew up when I did.
  4. I need to get a rain water collection setup done this year. Screw paying the city to water my grass, lol.
  5. What sections of the Ganny are not considered navigable?
  6. I'd go resident trout hunting in Grey/Bruce.
  7. I'd love to see it, there aren't many navigable waterways in this province where landowners still have stream bed rights. I only know of one that I fish.
  8. Steelhead has been open all year You boys should be fishing residents!
  9. Small spoons, spinners, stick baits, etc. Might run into a resident brown or two.
  10. It's really not the CO's responsibility to look up your info. He's doing your a favour in doing so, opposed to giving you a ticket. And what happens if you're way out in the boonies with no data signal?
  11. Ghostery + Adblock here. Nice combo.
  12. Thanks Matt! Rick was nice enough to offer up his foot pedal for me to try out, if that falls through I'll take you up on your offer. Great bunch of guys here!
  13. Dara, if there's a zero possession limit in place (Which there is from Sept 1st-30th), the fish needs to be released. If the season was closed, you couldn't fish for them at all. If you've got your 4 fish that you're taking home, any subsequent fish need to be released. You do not have to stop fishing.
  14. People think Microsoft is bad? Wait until they see what Google does, lol!
  15. I've been in the same situation, out in the middle of the lake, wallet still in the truck. Haven't been charged yet, like you said a little bit of respect goes a long way. Now, some of the OPP guys I've encountered seem to be hunting for anything in order to give you a ticket. I even had one a few years ago tell me that lake trout was closed in Parry Sound starting Sept 1st. He wasn't too impressed when I embarrassed him in front of his rookie partner when I told him lakers are open, but there's a 0 possession limit until the season closes on the 30th (I pulled the regs right up on my cell, lol!)
  16. You leave the choke on?
  17. I am going to check those butt connectors like Art mentioned, that's come up a few times on Google. Time to start checking stuff off the list. Appreciate the insight fellas! At least the motor troubles didn't stop this young fella from catching a nice laker (I'm still trying to convince him that holding it isn't 'gross')
  18. I was hoping I'd get a quick answer instead of diving in and checking everything I'm sure it's something silly!
  19. Terry, with the new unit you just picked up last year? I'm pretty sure we've got the exact same motor.
  20. Art, good thinking.. Looks like I'll need to test this on the water.
  21. That's what I keep on reading man, the damn foot pedal. I'll see if I can find a local Barrie OFC'r with a Terrova or Riptide and try their pedal and see if that resolves the issue (I'm guessing it will)
  22. This isn't anything new.
  23. Did that at the end of last season, didn't seem to help. I'd love to get my hands on a known working pedal to rule that out.
  24. Your problems sound a lot worse then mine, I hope you get them sorted! I wish I wasn't addicted to the foot pedal so much and could just get rid of it all together, but it just becomes second nature. Maybe I'll pick up that micro iPilot remote, because the big LCD unit is just too big to hold comfortably when you fish.
