  1. If I had a 100k glitter boat I'd probably have every option imaginable, lol.
  2. Any electronics should be hooked up to a main power 'kill switch' to avoid exactly this.
  3. I never have the cranking battery on a charger (The motor takes care of it)
  4. Terry, check out the Guest chargers.
  5. Line definitely isn't going to help someone that isn't paying attention
  6. Problem with Cat5e is that the connections aren't watertight. I dunno if I'd want them on a boat.
  7. I run braid with heavy mono leaders (Usually 30lb or so)... I fish a lot of topwater during the season (pike, bass, etc). Not a huge fan of mono as a mainline for that type of fishing. I realize why some guys like it, but it's not for me.
  8. A few beauties for sure!
  9. Proprietary. Looks like a old BNC network cable.
  10. Battery. Doesn't matter what the charger says.
  11. Your spot lock will work just fine, use the iPilot link remote. Once you get the ethernet cable, you can then control the Terrova from the 'bird.
  12. Great pics Joey!
  13. It's your boat..... This guy sounds like a jackass or just really REALLY stupid.
  14. Those are sharp lookin'!
  15. If there's only ever one car parked in your spot at a time, then I don't see a problem (Shouldn't matter whos car it is) I'd probably call the outfitter and figure out what his/her issue is.
  16. I don't care what the Leafs do next year, I'm hoping to see them be a contender in 3-4 years. As for Edmonton? Look at what they've done with their first round picks, lol they suck.
  17. I'm guessing OS is going to be a zoo today
  18. You really don't have to worry about the rule of thirds when taking pics of stuff that far away, I think that Blood Moon shot is a 66% or a 100% crop. If you haven't already, check out a book called 'Understanding Exposure'. It's a great read and will really help you out.
  19. I'm wondering if you'll still run into some ice.
  20. It really depends on the lens you are using. When I've got my EF 100-400mm @ 400mm the camera will autofocus pretty easily. I also like to focus via Liveview with the 10X zoom, that really helps. I find the camera sometimes has a harder time with the exposure level (Again all depends on the situation). I always like to use the rule of thirds, I try not to place the subject right in the middle of the pic (At least in POST, during my actual shooting I really don't care, lots to crop out)
  21. I was out for hours trying to get the top one. So many clouds that night, I think I got 6 keeper shots! I wish the ISO was lower but it's not too bad.
  22. Blaque, you mind if we make this an official 'Moon' thread? I'm sure Rodbender has some great ones! Blood_Moon_Sept_2015 by billmarz, on Flickr August 2014 Supermoon by billmarz, on Flickr Moon by billmarz, on Flickr
  23. Nice!!! The moon can be a bit tough at times.
  24. I've never found crappie to be on a worm bite, plastics for sure. Now gills, sunfish and rock bass? Worms all day.
  25. Someone close this thread now, nothing else needs to be said, lol!!!!
