  1. Very cool, just gotta make sure those horizons are straight
  2. I've tried running the clips super light and all I do is pop the release when tightening down the rod. I use the standard Scotty clips (Nothing special).. After years and years I've basically just given up waiting for a rod to pop fishing these big greasers and watch for the bouncing rod tip
  3. 30lb XT for topwaters, 20lb Seaguar for anything that sinks. For steel its usually Phantom or Drennan.
  4. What the H E double hockey sticks is Edmonton doing?
  5. Wait, people liked Healy between the benches? lol
  6. Id also check the date codes on the tires. Even old tires can 'look' good and be not road worthy.
  7. Another bass opener on GBay, 20+ in the boat, off the water by 10:30!

  8. Yeah Harvie will be great, right near the new place (Just up from you, Ferndale/Essa area)
  9. Even worse, Essa.. 4 sets of lights within a span of what? a couple hundred feet? lol
  10. I wouldn't use a swivel like this on a copper setup (Would you even use a swivel?)
  11. Aren't they tearing down the bridge south of Mapleview as well sometime soon? I thought I read a highway closure on one of those MTO signs.
  12. I don't reel the swivel through the guides, ever...
  13. No issues landing big boots on giant skien chunks in the late summer on the float setup.
  14. Raven micro swivels for all my braid > leader connections.
  15. 17 from the Sault to Nipigon is a great drive. I hope you stopped at a few of the lookouts! I wanna do that train tour in Agawa Bay in the fall.
  16. Good job, but lakers rarely will pop the rod out of the release (Even the big ones) Gotta keep an eye out for a bouncing rod tip.
  17. Nice job man, can't wait to see some pics when I get home from work (They're blocked here)
  18. This is about the norm for Gbay muskies...
  19. Each of the big 3 have their issues. Although if you're looking at new, I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

Awesome man! Mind posting the EXIF?
  21. Momma wasn't huge, I'll post up some more pics with her. With a Canon EF 100-400mm + the crop factor I'm looking at a total of 640mm on the big end. That lens definitely has some reach (Which you can never have enough of)
